dear expectant mother
Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us as the possible parents of your precious child! We cannot begin to understand the importance of this decision for you, and we admire the level of selflessness and commitment you have to giving your child the best chance he or she can possibly have.
If chosen, we promise to celebrate the addition of your child and the selfless love you have shown by placing him or her into our care. We are eager to include your selflessness in our family celebrations. Your child will always know how much you care, regardless of the amount of communication we have with you. Our family is very familiar with and understands what adopting a child means to the dynamic and how birth parents’ roles play a part.
We are so excited to watch our family embrace another little one and to help us teach him or her the important lessons of life and how to navigate it. We promise to lead by example and to instill in your child the values of trust, honesty, loyalty, kindness, and love. Finally, we promise to surround your baby with a community of loving people who will enrich his or her life with laughter, wisdom, and so many memories.
Laurie has been in the automotive industry for 19 years, where she manages technology programs. Zachary served in the military for 14+ years and has been working in corporate recruiting for the past 2.5 years. We first met in high school and decided later in life to join our two families together. We were married in 2014 when Zack retired from the military. Our number one priority is our family and living life to its fullest while not taking things for granted. It is important to us to have experiences that can create everlasting bonds and memories with our family and friends. Our values drive how we live; trust, honesty, loyalty, kindness, and love are key to having a family that grows together.
We enjoy spending time with our 11 year old son Lukas, and watching him play football. He enjoys creating things out of Legos, playing video games and swimming. As a family we like going to concerts and sporting events.
Our Home & Pets
We have a four-bedroom home in Michigan with a large yard and three extremely lovable dogs that love to cuddle. Our home has several family-oriented games we enjoy playing when we have family dinners and holidays or whenever the mood strikes. We live in a subdivision with many children of varying ages and in a town with a wide variety of community activities. Events that we enjoy in this town are the pumpkin fest, annual Christmas tree lighting, New Year’s Eve community ball drop, and enormous support and involvement in our local non-profit football and cheer organization in which we play critical roles each year.
Our Extended Family
Each and every year our family engages in several traditions we love. We get together with aunts, uncles, and cousins each year for Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. One of our favorite traditions is to participate in our annual cookie party, white elephant gift exchange, and hunt for the Christmas pickle. We also get together with our extended family on a weekly basis and ensure that we celebrate each birthday of our extended family with cake and the birthday song, regardless of age.
Our family is extremely excited about our decision to adopt a child and has already begun to come up with ideas of what they would like to do with and teach the new addition to our family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We decided to adopt because we have an enormous amount of love to give. Laurie has been close to adoption in her life with the adoption of her three brothers. Zack has not seen adoption firsthand but has been part of a foster home and understands how important it is to give children unconditional love and support. We have always wanted to grow our family; however, due to medical reasons, we are not able to do so biologically. We know adoption is the path meant for us and are so happy to be on this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
