Sharon Ahmann & Carolyn Walker

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to tell you about Angel Adoption. We are Carolyn Walker and Sharon Ahmann, the founders of Angel Adoption, and we are adoption professionals as well as adoptive mothers.

We created Angel Adoption in 1998, while working together on a book about miraculous adoption stories. In the process of gathering these stories, adoptive parents and expectant mothers began to call us for help and information about the adoption process. With marketing and advertising backgrounds as well as our firsthand knowledge of agency and private adoption, we realized we could help so many people become families.

Our services are supportive and nurturing, and our love for adoption makes our program exceptional. We believe that adoption is not the time to get lost in the shuffle, so we provide a unique, small, and personalized service. More than 25 years later, we are proud to say that we have successfully assisted with more than 2,800 adoptions!

Over the years, we have had the wonderful opportunity of supporting thousands of expectant mothers through their journeys. We know firsthand the sensitivity of their experiences. A birthmother-centered company, our philosophy is based on caring and consideration for them during this fragile time. We believe every birthmother is an angel who swoops in and delivers a miracle, and that's where the name of our company comes from.
