dear expectant mother

We feel truly blessed that you would consider us for this sacred opportunity of raising your precious child. We see the children in our life as a blessing and a gift from God, whether it is our friends’ children, our nieces and nephews, or children who ask us if they can pet our dog. We genuinely hope and pray for the blessing of a baby in our home to share our lives with and to raise to be an adult with strong morals and values.

We love to travel and would love to show this baby the world. Certain life lessons are best learned through experiencing different cultures, and we do love to explore. We have had to opportunity to receive advanced education and live in an excellent school district. We look forward to helping our child reach his or her full potential, whatever that may look like, by providing various opportunities throughout his or her life.

We would treasure the opportunity to provide a child with a loving environment where they feel safe and have the opportunity to explore and learn while enjoying life.

About Us

Yvonne is a clinical social worker who works at a community mental health center. Kevin is a software developer and consultant in health care. We are a good team and complement each other. We are both fun loving and enjoy trying new things but also love having a quiet night at home with our dog. We have an active lifestyle, and both of us travel, bike riding, going for long walks, and yoga. We enjoy spending time with friends and family, which includes children of various ages. We genuinely enjoy caring for our dog and teaching our puppy new tricks while participating in her agility classes. Kevin has been taking martial arts classes for more than ten years and now teaches martial arts to both adults and children.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a three-bedroom, two-story home in the suburbs of a large city. We have a fenced-in yard where our dog loves to play with her toys or just run around. We garden in the summertime and enjoy growing herbs and vegetables. We have been blessed that our neighbors are friendly and many have children and dogs. Our neighborhood has many beautiful parks and playgrounds. In the summer, we love to go bike riding in the forest preserves close by. We would love to have a child to share our love of the outdoors with and spend time teaching them many different things, such as how to make a garden grow, exploring new parks, experiencing martial arts, or just enjoying the beauty of nature.

Our Extended Family

Our family is a blended family in which we have incorporated several different cultures and languages. Yvonne’s family is Cuban and left Cuba in the 1960s. She grew up speaking Spanish and English while living in both the Cuban and the American worlds at the same time.

Yvonne’s brother married a woman from the Philippines, and through our relationship with her family, we have grown to love the Asian culture. Kevin’s parents are Caucasian, but between martial arts and his circle of friends, he shares a rich influence of cultures that includes Asian, Latino, and Eastern European.

Many different languages are spoken by our nieces and nephews: English, Spanish, Russian, Japanese, and Tagalog. We speak English and Spanish at home to the point that even our dog understands both languages. Our families are very excited to welcome a new family member, and we look forward to teaching our child strong values and appreciation for life.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been married for more than ten years and have been unable to have children even though we have tried by numerous means. We both love children and have been told that we would make good parents. We have been blessed with more than ten nieces and nephews and enjoy participating in activities with them, such as picnics, sports, sledding, playdates with our dog, and simply sitting at home watching many different kids’ movies.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
