dear expectant mother
We are so happy and honored you have taken the time to get to know us. We realize you are making one of the hardest decisions of your life by considering an adoption plan and choosing a family to love and raise your precious child. Here is a promise we will make to you if you decide to entrust us with your sweet baby.
Your child will grow up in a loving, safe environment with a huge family that will be so excited to engulf them in traditions and activities like fishing, playing games with the ability to win and lose gracefully, and all of the things they will need to learn and grow. Having been raised with the values of living life to the fullest, having patience, laughing, and having the ability to be and know they are loved unconditionally, they will grow up to become a person you will be proud of.
So once again we say thank you for taking the time to learn about us and what we are able to offer you and your little one along this adoption journey.
In 2009 Wendy left a family she had been with as a nanny for three years and started a new job at a hotel, not knowing what she would find. With a tip of Jeremiah's hat and many nice conversations in the breakroom, our relationship grew. After three years of dating, on New Year’s Eve 2013, Jeremiah got down on one knee and asked Wendy to be his wife. We have since moved on to bigger and better things. Wendy works at a retail store where she does everything from being an elf at Christmas to hanging and folding clothing, and Jeremiah is a maintenance supervisor at a student housing building where he makes sure college students get the best and safest college experience possible. Wendy is Jeremiah's backbone, supporting him anytime he needs it, and Jeremiah will always be Wendy’s rock and be there no matter what we face.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a two bedroom apartment on the first floor of a three family house. There is a small fenced in backyard to play in and a friendly neighborhood that is great for walking our shih-poo oliver. Our town is great whether its hitting the water park, library or going down to lake Erie to hear a local band and skip a rock there is always something to do.In the winter we do get some snow and is a great time to hunker down with some coco and spend some quality time with oliver and oakley our tiger striped cat.
Our Extended Family
If you choose us, your child will be joining a huge family with four sets of grandparents. Jeremiah has a younger brother and a sister with three sons. Wendy has a younger brother, a foster sister with two children, and a step-brother and sister who both have sons. We have many fun traditions we honor, like Memorial Day, when we head home to pay respects to our family members who served. We take a camping trip with Jeremiah's sister’s family the weekend before on Cayuga Lake.
Thanksgiving is the big one for Wendy’s family. We usually have twenty to thirty people get together for a great feast. Two years ago we were able to welcome a new family member with a small wedding before supper. This is a great time, but when the board games come out, it’s every man for himself.
Christmas Eve we head to Jeremiah’s family home, where we have a small supper, open gifts, and somehow end up with Jeremiah getting beat up by his young nephews; he needs a tag partner. Then we finish the night by eating sweets by the woodstove and watching classic Christmas movies at his mom’s house.
What Led Us To Adoption
When Wendy was a small child, she was diagnosed with cancer twice, and the treatments and procedures she went through left her unable to bear children. After many years of attempts and losses, we decided we still wanted a child. We want nothing more than to be parents without pursuing more medical procedures. We have so much love to give, and we can’t wait to pour all we have onto a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
