dear expectant mother

Thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce ourselves and tell you about our journey to meet you. On our quest to become parents, we learned we are unable to have biological children. Over the years, we both decided there is another baby in God’s plan for us. As we open our hearts and our home to welcome a baby, our prayers remain with you. We believe the gift of adoption is the ultimate act of selflessness and profound love.

Arthur has a 14-year-old daughter who was adopted, and she is awesome! We adore her smiles and love that she has welcomed Vanessa as her stepmom. We have an eight-year-old son together, whom we adopted, and he adores his big sister but is anxious for a new sibling to play with.

As we embark on the next phase of our journey, we are prayerful and excited. We look forward to expanding our family through adoption and getting to know you more.

About Us

Our adventure began when we started dating in high school, but then Arthur enlisted in the U.S. Navy. Twelve years later, fate brought us back together, showing us that being in the right place at the right time surely does pay off! The love we shared long ago was real and still is; a year and a half after reconnecting, we were married! We are blessed in being high school sweethearts, best friends, and soulmates!

Our Home & Pets

We own a home in a suburban area in Texas. Our four-bedroom home is located in a well-known and safe neighborhood. We are in an excellent school district that offers a lot of activities, playgrounds, libraries, and museums. We have a one-year-old German shepherd dog named Rocky, who is gentle, playful, and very loving.

Our Extended Family

Our family means a great deal to us. Our mothers and siblings are a huge part of our lives, and they are always there to offer a hand, just as we are for them. Arthur shares joint custody of his daughter, who is 14 years old, and she is very excited about another sibling! We also have an eight-year-old who is very anxious to be a big brother and have another playmate.

We enjoy family bike rides on the weekends and tennis on Sundays. Both kids love to swim and are great at it! A lot of our family time is spent outdoors and with our dog, Rocky. We hope to offer the same love and security of an extended family to your child that we have given ours.

Vanessa has three sisters, and Arthur has one brother. All of Vanessa’s sisters and mother live in Texas as does Arthur’s mother and brother; everyone is only a phone call away or a short drive to visit! We enjoy family dinners, birthdays, and holidays together as often as possible.

Our Adoption Story

We are pursuing adoption again as a way to expand our family and spread the love and joy we have an abundance of! We believe a child should be happy, secure, and given all the love a home can and should bring, and we are confident we can give your child that and more. Over the years of our marriage, our love has continued to grow, and it’s because of the mutual respect and love we give each other. We love life, and we love each other, our children, and our families. We have been through the adoption process twice, and it’s truly been a blessing. As we grow our family through adoption again, we’ll have more to love!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
