dear expectant mother

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to read my profile and allow me to tell you about myself and my family.

First, I want you to know you are a GOOD MOTHER. All of the time and energy you are putting into this decision makes you a good mother. The nights you are up worrying about your child's future makes you a good mother. This decision is a tremendous gift of life you are giving. Your selfless act shows how strong you are. I have a favorite quote from Bob Marley I want to share with you: “YOU NEVER KNOW HOW STRONG YOU ARE UNTIL BEING STRONG IS YOUR ONLY CHOICE.”

As women, we do what's needed to protect our families. I’ve always wanted to be a mother. Teaching a child to walk and to ride a bike or weekends at the park, the aquarium, the zoo, and the amusement parks are way overdue for me. I look forward to being involved in school and afterschool activities, showing a child how to be a well-rounded human being in this society. I was a cheerleader in high school, and I know I will be their number one cheerleader in whatever they strive to be. I won't hold up any more of your time, and I thank you for considering me. I pray you have all the support you need on your journey.

So grateful,
Trina

About Me

My name is Trina. I work as a senior system administrator. I’m a team lead with five employees under me, and I understand that everyone has something to bring to the table. Teamwork is important, so we have a stress-free environment. I’m someone who thrives on laughter, joy, and peace. I like to bring laughter wherever I go. Life is an adventure, and there is a lot to see. There’s no time to be out here holding grudges or arguing with someone over unnecessary things. I love kids, art, music, traveling, and collecting unicorns; they are so beautiful and mystical. I’m a military “brat.” I have traveled and lived all over the world. I love taking long trips as well as short weekend trips. I cannot wait to take a child along with me and my family.

My Home & Pets

I live in a family-oriented cul-de-sac of townhomes that are like a little hidden gem. Families with children and dogs are in this area, and we all get along. Everyone wants peace and safety in the community. I am currently serving as president of the Home Owners Association. I know for a fact that we make sure the community is in top shape. I have a little hypoallergenic Yorkiepoo named Willow. He is social, gentle, and lovable, so he is not a guard dog, which thankfully is not needed in our neighborhood. He’s a perfect size for a townhome pet. He’s Just a little ball of fun and is always ready to play.

My Extended Family

I am number two of three girls. I have an older half-sister and a younger sister. I currently live with my younger sister; we are best friends. My mom is the second of the kids and my father is the second of seven kids, so that leaves me with a lot of cousins. My grandmother on my mother’s side is still alive. She is 95 years old and loves life.

We all love to get together on both sides of the family and get a busload or two to travel together annually. We have gone to Georgia, Martha’s Vineyard, and Canada, to name a few. We flew to Disney once with 33 people on the plane, all with matching T-shirts. Imagine that plane ride! We love getting together and just watching football at my parents’ house too. Yes, we are a football family. Any reason to get together, we will. Another addition to the family is exciting for everyone.

What Led Me To Adoption

There was a movie that came out in 1991 called, The Josephine Baker Story, w/ Lynn Whitfield. She adopted 12 children from multiple countries, and she called them her “rainbow tribe” to demonstrate unity. I was just a teenager when that movie came out, but it inspired me so much. I wanted to adopt. She was my hero. Then, later in life, I found out that, unfortunately, I could not have biological kids. So why not adopt like I always wanted to? I can provide a home, love, a supportive family and show them the world, to open their minds to this amazing place we call earth.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
