dear expectant mother
We wanted to start off by letting you know how much we admire your strength for considering the difficult decision of placing your child for adoption. Just considering this avenue for your child is a testament to what an amazing person and parent you are by putting your child’s needs, wants, and happiness ahead of your own. We can promise you we will do the same. We sincerely appreciate you giving us this opportunity to share with you our hopes and dreams we have for your precious little baby.
We’re excited to experience the everyday moments of parenthood, from late night and early morning feedings to diaper blowouts that make us want to gag. We can’t wait to start our mornings off with seeing the baby’s angelic smile and ending the nights with cuddles and snuggles over nightly bedtime stories. We will provide your child with unconditional love, care, support, encouragement, security, and stability while instilling in them the traits of confidence, independence, and strength so they can grow into the best version of themselves and who they want to become. It is our wish for you that you’re able to find the perfect match that’s just the right fit for you and your child. We have faith our perfect match will find us just like we found each other.
Hi there! We are Travis and Melissa. Together we make the perfect match. We met in 2013 through Match.com and have never been happier. We’ve been married for a little over a year. Travis works in IT purchasing at a local university. Most days Travis can be found tinkering on computers or projects around the house. Travis is a hard-working, smart, laidback, and funny individual. Melissa works part time as a nanny to our adorable nephew; she loves to make him smile and hear his infectious laugh. Melissa is incredibly caring and nurturing, with her own unique, goofy, childlike spirit at heart. She can’t wait to become a full-time stay-at-home mother to your child. In her free time, Melissa enjoys the simple things, like playing with our fur babies or just spending a quiet night at home together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom, two-bath house in suburbia. We have a very large backyard for tons of play time and large trees in both the front and backyard that provide ample shade in the summer. We are in a quiet neighborhood tucked away from major city life and have several nice neighbors who are always willing to lend a hand. We have two Australian shepherd puppies affectionately named after IT companies, Google and Cisco. They are the sweetest pups, with tons of energy to play fetch and chase.
Our Extended Family
Melissa is the baby of her family. Her brother is just a big kid himself, the perfect fit for a fun uncle. We are sure he will pass on his love of video games, sports, and cartoons. Melissa’s sister and husband have a little boy and are currently expecting their second son in late Summer 2020; they are eagerly awaiting cousins to burn off energy and make memories together. Melissa’s parents can’t wait to have more grandchildren at their home for Christmas and see their faces light up when they see the mountain of presents Santa has delivered for them. Melissa’s family will definitely have a strong presence in our children’s lives as everyone lives less than fifteen minutes away.
Travis is an only child but feels like he has more than just a set of parents. After we got married, Travis became part of Melissa’s family. Travis’s family lives over a couple hours away and isn’t able to visit much due to his father’s atypical job schedule. While they don’t have a large presence in our lives, they still want what’s best for us and our future children as they have had a major impact on the person Travis has become.
What Led Us To Adoption
We knew early on that there was a strong possibility Melissa wouldn’t be able to carry a child herself due to her complex medical history. We saw it as being counterintuitive for us to become pregnant when there could potentially be life-threatening complications or consequences to both Melissa and the baby. What matters most to us is being actively present in our children’s lives in all forms and being there for them in mind, body, soul, and spirit. We genuinely just want to be able to nurture, care for, support, love, and parent a child. Adoption is the perfect match to allow us to achieve that dream.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
