dear expectant mother

We are honored that you are taking the time to read our story, and we thank you for considering us to be a part of your baby’s life. We will forever be grateful for your strength and courage and will always be thankful for your decision, so thank you for considering giving us this opportunity. We cannot wait to be proud and loving parents.

Family is about unconditional love and a strong bond. Families are there for each other during both the good times and bad. We would love to be the parents who show your baby that strong bond and unconditional love, which he or she will receive daily. Your baby will add love, laughter, excitement, and new memories to cherish throughout our lifetime. Your baby will also always know how much you love him or her and how amazing you are to pick us to be a part of your child’s life. We would love to keep in contact with you if you decide you want to be a part of your baby’s life. We are excited and can’t wait for our new adventure. Our daughter can’t wait to be a older sister either. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.

About Us

We are Mike and Tonya. Both of us work in law enforcement because we enjoy serving the public. We met each other through our jobs and became good friends before we eventually dated. Tonya is a kindhearted, adventurous women who has a strong love for animals. After facing a long day, she loves to relax by planting flowers whenever the weather allows it. Because of her love of animals, she also volunteers at an animal rescue by helping to raise money. Meanwhile, Mike is a child at heart who can also be a self-driven, hard worker. Through work, he volunteers to help raise money for the Special Olympics. We both work opposite shifts, so we go out to eat and engage in fun activities whenever we get the chance. Sharing the simple joys of life is our main goal as our family grows.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a cozy, loving, pet-friendly home. Our neighborhood is fairly quiet but is full of caring individuals. Whenever the weather is nice, you will see kids out riding their bikes and drawing with chalk on the sidewalks. We have bike trails and parks nearby as well! At home, we have two dogs, Brooklyn and Fergus, and one cat, Marseilles. Marseilles is a black and white cat who never fails at keeping the dogs on their toes. Brooklyn, our golden retriever, loves going on car rides and walks, but most of all, she loves getting attention. Fergus, a pointer mix, is our foster dog who loves treats and snuggles.

Our Extended Family

We are thankful to say we have caring and supportive families that live fairly close to us. We love spending birthdays, holidays, and yearly cookouts with our families, and we are very grateful that everyone lives close by so we are able to do all these fun activities.

Tonya still lives very close to her parents and loves spending time with them as much as she can. Her sister is married and adopted three boys. They enjoy quality time spent with Tonya’s daughter from a previous relationship. They enjoy playing the Wii and having water balloon fights on hot summer days. Mike’s parents and sister are about forty-five minutes away. Mike’s sister and her husband have a daughter around the same age as our daughter.

Our favorite activities are bowling, going to waterparks, and going on mini vacations together. Our get-togethers are always filled with fun, jokes, and laughter. Our families are a huge part of our lives, and we enjoy having quality time together. We are really excited to create more memories with a child in the future.

What Led Us To Adoption

We started our journey about four years ago when we decided we wanted to add to our family! After our first year of marriage, Tonya unfortunately ended up having a miscarriage. Although heartbroken, we tried and tried again but without success. Once the idea of adoption was presented, we came to the conclusion that adopting would be the best decision for us. Plus, our daughter really wants to be an older sister, so she is excited about finally getting that opportunity. We all truly look forward to this opportunity and hope you will allow us to share our home and love with your baby.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
