dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for taking the time to read our family’s profile. We understand the many emotions you must be feeling right now. Please know we are praying for you and asking that you would be able to feel God’s guiding and comforting hand upon you. May he walk with you through this journey until you find the family that is perfect for your little one.
Children are a gift from God, and we hope it brings you peace to know that is exactly how we would view your child if you were to choose us. In our home, we strive for love above all else. We always try to practice patience, kindness, gratefulness, and faith. We look for joy in the little things. Each day together is a blessing, and we would be so honored if you chose for your baby to be a part of our daily blessings.
We feel strongly that God is working in our waiting as he is also working in the life of an expectant mother to bring us together. We know we would not feel this so strongly in our hearts if it were not so. Sending you love and peace until we meet!
Love,
Tom, Siobhan & Joel

About Us

Our journey began when our paths crossed unexpectedly at a wedding. After our first date spent sitting and talking beside a lake, we never missed spending another weekend together. Tom is currently working as a manager, and Siobhan is a pediatric physical therapist. Tom says, “Siobhan lights up a room with her smile. She loves children, and they love her. She is a great wife and mother and my best friend. She makes me appreciate life and makes my world better by just being in it.” Siobhan says, “Tom is the most kindhearted man I have ever met. He will do anything for you and is always looking to place your needs above his own. He is a great dad and can make kids laugh in a way very few people can.””

Our Home & Pets

We moved into our home in a quiet neighborhood almost one year ago and have made it a warm, cozy place we are always happy to come home to. Our home has three bedrooms, a basement and sunroom that have been converted to playrooms (including the favorite, an indoor trampoline), and a nice backyard with a large playset. We spend lots of time in our backyard and walking or riding bikes around our neighborhood. We are dog lovers and have a pup named Tippie James. He is a miniature poodle who loves to snuggle and to chase tennis balls.

Our Extended Family

We are extremely close to our extended family. We both have two brothers and enjoy spending time with each of them and their families. We have five nieces and a nephew and enjoy spoiling them with our time as often as we can. In between weekend and camping trips together, we always look forward to sleepovers with them.
Our parents (and grandparents) are our biggest supporters. They love us unconditionally and have always been there for us. They have instilled in us the importance of family, and their homes are often the places we have birthday parties, enjoy random pizza parties, celebrate the holidays, and continue traditions (gather to make Christmas cookies, set up long summer slip n slides, sled ride, meet to go cut down our Christmas tree each year, and more). Family means the world to us!

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption is something we have always felt God calling us to do. We both love kids, and when we first had difficulty conceiving, adoption was always an option because we have seen and experienced the love and joy that come from adoption. (Siobhan has two cousins who were adopted and has worked with many families who have chosen adoption.) We miraculously conceived and were able to have Joel, our six-year-old son. Now we feel the desire to adopt, which has always been in our hearts, is the way we would like to expand our family. We feel we have so much love to give, and we see that in Joel as well. We can’t wait to share all that love with a little one!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
