dear expectant mother

I’m so grateful for your consideration of creating an adoption plan. I’ll be praying for you and your precious baby during this difficult time. I can’t begin to imagine the emotions that led you to this decision, but I do know it was from a place of love. I have an incredible amount of admiration for the courage and selflessness you’ve shown your child already.

If you choose me to be a part of your child’s life, it would fulfill my prayers to have a family of my own. I will love and nurture your child and raise them knowing where they came from. I’m open to whatever level of openness you desire. I would allow them to grow in self-discovery while surrounding them in love, guidance, and support so they can thrive. My family is so eager and waiting for this precious gift from God too.

Thank you again for taking the time to consider me as I know this isn’t a decision to be taken lightly. I wish you nothing but the best and hope your pregnancy is an easy one. I hope to be there for you along the journey!

With much love,
Tina

About Me

Hello! My name is Tina. I’m a logistics manager for a family-owned transportation company, and I’m coming up on my 19th anniversary working there. I love anything that involves being around my family. We’re big on playing cards and board games, and we celebrate by cooking out on the grill. I enjoy getting involved with my church and giving back, which has led me to teaching on Wednesday nights to a group of kiddos from the ages of three years to fifth grade. It’s always an adventure, and I learn so much from them. When time permits, I love to travel to see all of God’s beauty. In my spare time, I get to love on my fur baby, Gracie Renee, a miniature dachshund, and spoil my nieces.

My Home & Pets

I live and work in a residential neighborhood within ten minutes of where I grew up, also known for its Southern hospitality. Schools and parks are within walking distance; it's nice seeing kiddos out and about playing and having fun. I often walk my fur baby, Gracie Renee (she pulls me most of the time). Gracie gets so excited when people come for a visit. She gets what I call the zoomies (burst of energy) and runs in circles, which usually leads to her sleeping really well on those nights. As much as I like being active, I’m also a homebody. I enjoy tinkering in the yard and sitting out on the patio hearing the birds in the morning and watching sunsets at night.

My Extended Family

I’m lucky to have family close by, and for those who live farther away whom I don’t get to see as often, thank goodness for modern technology with FaceTime and Zoom. My sister
(since I was 5 ) and her family live real close, and we see each other a few times a week. We’re all actively involved in the same church, and I’m “Fun Aunt Tina” so we do a bunch of fun things with my three nieces. I love taking my nieces to museums, the drive-in movies, arcades, and the water parks; seeing them be engaged in planning our times together makes it that more special.

My dad and brother live only a few hours away, so we carve out special times throughout the year to celebrate and come together, which will involve some sort of playing games and cooking! Around Christmas my dad, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins will come together and celebrate by doing a white elephant gift. It’s a blast, especially with 25 or so of us.

What Led Me To Adoption

My husband and I had always planned to have children one day; however, God had other plans for us. After my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer, our focus was getting him healthy. Adoption was always going to be a part of our journey as we struggled to conceive naturally. In 2020 my life changed forever after my husband had an accident and passed away within six short weeks leaving a hole in my heart. I feel God had me go through these trials to prepare me and allow me to write the rest of my story. A few members of my family are adopted, and I’ve seen firsthand the unconditional love that comes from adoption. My sister-in-law was adopted at an early age, and my cousin and his wife have adopted.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
