If you are reading our profile, you are embarking on something that is truly brave and giving, a great parent puts the needs of their child before themselves and that is what you are doing. We can only imagine how overwhelming and frightening your decision to pick a family to raise your baby must be. Our hearts go out to you and your family as we know that this will affect everyone connected to you.
One of the reasons we picked open adoption was that your child will know where they came from. I love hearing stories about my family’s history and we want your child to know the same. We want you to know the kind of people we are and what we hope to give to your child.
No matter what your decision is, you and your child are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope to hear from you. Thank you for being such a brave and selfless parent.
Tim and I met in high school. My senior year I asked him to the turnabout dance and then followed him to college where we dated for four and a half years; we were each others first love. After college we did part ways, but stayed in touch for 16 years through cards, phone calls, and dinners. In 2009, after not seeing him for a few years, I called and asked him to dinner. What can I say, I still loved him and we were married three years later to the day.
We are very social and fun-loving people. There is a lot of laughter in our home. We love cooking together. Tim is a great cook. We enjoy taking evening walks and traveling. We have very supportive and close friends who, like our family, are hoping and praying with us during our journey to bring a little one home.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a nice community with newer townhomes and single family homes with many families and children of various ages. Our large three bedroom townhome is ready with a bedroom all picked out for the baby! There is a park nearby. We live within 30 minutes of most of our immediate family and will have a huge support network. This year we adopted an orange cat named Sophia. She turned 1 in March. She is so incredibly sweet, very affectionate and good with children. She has allowed us to share all of the love we have been waiting to give! We would love to give her a playmate to grow up with. Tim dotes on her and the best part for me is seeing him as a dad and he is amazing.
Our Extended Family
Tim and I are very close to our families, we love being able to get together with them whenever we can. I grew up with a large extended family on my dad’s side, 9 aunts and uncles and 53 first cousins. We had tons of family get together’s growing up. My parents live very close. My mom’s side is a lot smaller, but still close, especially on the holidays. I have one sister that lives in California with her 2 kids. I have 2 step-brothers and a step-sister, who all live in the area. Tim’s family is not quite as big, but they share a very close bond with each other. Tim’s mom and dad live close and have been married for 38 years. He has 3 older sisters and a younger brother, all who live in the area. They have 10 children between them and they love playing together. Tim’s oldest sister was blessed to have adopted a beautiful little girl and all of Tim’s family was elated when she arrived. She brings all of us so much joy.
What Led Us To Adoption
When Tim and I first dated, we talked about what our future kids names would be and were very excited about the possibility of one day having a family. Once we started dating again in 2009 we picked up right where we left off planning for our future. We tried to start a family and knew we might have an uphill battle getting pregnant. We tried on our own, but that only led us to a heartbreaking miscarriage. After which we sought out fertility treatments and acupuncture that was unsuccessful. Tim and I talked about all of our options along the way and adoption is where we landed together. We are so excited to be on this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
