dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

It’s hard to choose the right words to express our gratitude for your courage, your grace, and your consideration. We are certain the love you carry for your child is immeasurable. Thank you for taking the time to consider us as parents for your baby. We believe everything happens for a reason, and we were meant to be right here in this moment for the right little one to join our family, to be a part of our traditions, and to make new traditions with us too.

Just as we vowed to one another in our marriage, we vow to love, cherish, encourage, and support your baby, should you choose us. We will be their shelter when life’s winds blow cold, and we will guide them with love and understanding. We vow to laugh often and love fiercely. We vow to comfort them in difficult times and celebrate in times of joy. We will encourage your baby to reach for their dreams and teach them they can be anything they want to be. Anything really is possible for those who have the courage to dream it!

About Us

Our love story started on a snowy winter night in high school. We were at a firefighter banquet Tiffany’s dad, the fire chief, was hosting. It was truly love at first sight! By the end of the night, we were sitting in Clay’s truck listening to music and talking about our favorite bands. A few days later, we went on our first date, and the rest is our love story’s history. Twenty-one years later, we still choose one another every day. It’s not that our marriage has always been easy, but we love each other deeply, we communicate, and we compromise. TIffany is a manager of a team of about 300 people—a perfect fit for a caring, curious leader who loves to give back to the community. Clay is a carpenter who gets to build some pretty amazing things, both at work and around the house.

Our Home & Pets

We have a four-bedroom home with a large yard, garden, and pool. It’s spacious and works well for large family gatherings. We also have a loft in our home where we spend time playing board games together, or Tiffany will craft or sew while Clayton plays video games. We live on a quiet street close to parks, ball fields, and hiking trails. Many of our neighbors have small children who are often riding bikes at the park or walking with their dogs. We also have two dogs of our own, Stella and Calvin. They are quite the characters! They both love to swim or jump in the Jeep to go camping or hiking.

Our Extended Family

Growing up, both of our families would have large family gatherings at Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was during these holidays when our love for board games was cultivated. Both our families would circle up around the dining table to play one of many games.

Clayton’s family also has a tradition of the annual family cookoff. Clayton’s dad loves to cook and grill, so growing up, all of the four brothers also learned to love to cook. Each year, they choose a theme or required ingredient. They have several categories, from appetizers and main dishes to desserts and even beverages. Tiffany’s family always gathered for all the major holidays—Easter egg hunts, Fourth of July celebrations on the lake, Halloween pumpkin carving and trick or treating, and baking at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Tiffany’s favorites still get baked every year—pumpkin cream cheese roll and Christmas cookies! Her brothers’ favorite, mince-meat pie, has to be included every year as well!

After many years of being Uncle Clayton and Aunt Tiffany, both of our families are thrilled for us to be on the adoption journey and for them to be the aunts and uncles! Our nieces and nephews are excited to finally be cousins, and the grandparents can't wait for another little one to spoil!

What Led Us To Adoption

We’ve always dreamed of having a family. Every year on our wedding anniversary, we have a tradition where we talk about our favorite memories from the previous year and talk about our dreams for the year to come. For many years, adding a child to our family has been our biggest dream. After several years and failed attempts to get pregnant, we knew it was time to adopt. Most of Clayton’s cousins are adopted, and Tiffany has three friends who were also adopted. We also both had dads who were actually stepdads. These men showed us what love is—we were their children, not their stepchildren. We know from experience that adoption is a beautiful story of where love makes the family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
