dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
I can only imagine what you might be thinking and feeling as you read profiles and letters while also looking at pictures of potential adoptive parents for your baby as you consider an adoption plan. You are an incredibly brave woman and a hero. A hero can be described as someone who acts with a selfless nature and who does good. I believe adoption is truly a selfless, good, and priceless gift.
Having the opportunity to love and raise your baby would be the ultimate blessing in my life. You would be completing a puzzle piece of my life and one I have longed for through many years. I’m excited to play outside in the sandbox, play hide-and-go-seek, dig up worms to go fishing (using a broken broomstick handle and a piece of fishing wire like I did when I was young), play dress-up, and bake cookies together. I look forward to helping with homework and having a routine where reading bedtime stories is a must before being tucked in. I will love, adore, and keep your baby safe.
Not everyone chooses the selfless act of adoption, and whether or not I fit the profile for what you are looking for, you are and will remain a hero to me. Thank you for considering me to have the blessing and honor of raising your baby.
I’m a strong and stable girl. I love my career of elementary education and cannot see myself doing anything else. I am fun-loving, thoughtful, and generous with my time and energy when doing things I love or helping someone I love. I am also independent. Some might say I’m a little stubborn too. Although I am determined, I also am humble. One of the mantras that I live by is “I am not here to be right; I am here to get it right.” I am by no means perfect—very far from it. But I’m okay with that. I have a close group of friends, and I am tight with my family. I love to laugh and have a good time. I am also very sentimental and seek to find joy in everyday life moments.
My Home & Pets
My home state is North Carolina, which has mountains on one end and beaches on the other. I built my three-bedroom townhouse and put big windows for sunlight in every room. The kitchen and den lead to the backyard with trees, potted plants and flowers, pesky squirrels, and birdhouse families. The neighborhood has sidewalks for easy walking and baby strolling and a pool with a designated kiddie area for play and swim lessons. I can’t wait to go trick-or-treating and do neighborhood Easter egg hunts. I have two cats, Tango and Forest, and except for the color of the fur on their noses, they are identical brothers. They love to sleep in the sunlight and play with the gazillion toys they have all over the house.
My Extended Family
I am fortunate to have my entire extended family living in my home state. My parents still live in the house I grew up in, which is only about ten minutes away. I have an older sister who lives close by as well as my grandmother, who lives about 30 minutes away in an adjacent town.
Family traditions include summer weekends at our beach house, traveling to the mountains to go to fall craft fairs and apple/pumpkin festivals, making s’mores by the fire pit at my parents’ house, and cooking and eating Sunday lunch together. My family is so excited to welcome their first grandchild, and they share in my belief that adoption is a gift. They are an integral part of my support network and cannot wait to share their lives with (and spoil) a precious addition through adoption.
What Led Me To Adoption
I have always wanted to be a mom. Although I have not been successful with infertility treatments and am unable to have a child biologically, my desire has never wavered. Adoption gives me hope of growing my family. While I don’t have family members who have been adopted or have become adoptive parents, I have several close friends who have grown their families through the gift of adoption. I see adoption as a selfless gift and act of love and honor. This will never be lost on me or taken for granted.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
