dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are so humbled and honored you are considering us as a possible family to love and raise your child. We would be so blessed to have an opportunity to create a family. We have dreamed of having a family since before we were married, and we look forward to filling our home with lots of love and learning.
We enjoy having spontaneous dance parties in our living room, eating BBQ in the backyard, and visiting local parks. We love tea parties but also going to college hockey games. We have visited several national parks and have explored the arts and theater in our community and abroad. We are part of a supportive and loving church community as well as an extended family that is looking forward to lots of fun family time. We love to travel and believe it’s important for a child to explore the world with trips to other cultures and traditions.
We look forward to building a relationship with you and always letting your child know how brave you are and how much you love them and want the best possible life and future for them.
With much love and admiration,
Thomas & Kelly
About Us
We met through a dating website and quickly discovered we wanted to spend our lives together. We lived in different states, so our courtship was spent traveling, meeting in different cities and experiencing new adventures. We both love working with adults with developmental disabilities, and we became host home providers together seven years ago. This allows us to not only do what we love for a living but to work together from home. Because our clients attend programs during the day, we have lots of time to devote to our relationship and enjoy each other and our hobbies, like church activities, volunteering with the food bank, cooking together, walks, and bike rides on the amazing trails by our home. We love to watch movies together and play board games. We are also avid travelers and love to explore the world.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a family-friendly neighborhood on a cul-de-sac. We own a lovely ranch home with six bedrooms and a beautiful fenced-in backyard, where we plant a vegetable garden each year. We have two parks within walking distance, and our elementary school is only a half-mile away. We look forward to playing at the park, taking bike rides, and having backyard campouts and, of course, making s’mores. We love pets and look forward to the day when we can take our child to pick out their own four-legged best friend. Our child will grow up in a loving Christian home participating in playgroups and other church and cultural activities. We look forward to traveling with our child and exploring the world on our family vacations.
Our Extended Family
Family is important to us, and we believe there is no greater gift in life than the gift of spending time with family. Our extended families are excited for us and look forward to meeting our child. Thomas has two brothers and a sister. Kelly has two sisters and three brothers and is still blessed to have her 91-year-old grandmother in her life. Kelly has a brother and sister who have had a child in the last year, so we are excited that our child will have cousins the same age to grow up with.
We host Kelly’s family every other Thanksgiving to have a week full of Thanksgiving and Christmas traditions. We love our German pickle tradition. Thomas hides a pickle ornament on our tree, and whoever finds it gets to open the first present. Thomas also dresses up in his great-grandpa’s Santa suit and walks the neighborhood, ringing a bell.
Extended family also includes our church family, friends, and clients’ families. We are blessed with so many loving and supportive people in our lives. We value community, and we love to share meals together and explore the multicultural differences of all our heritages.
What Led Us To Adoption
We tried for several years to get pregnant without any luck. We then found out we had medical difficulties preventing us from achieving a pregnancy. We have both always wanted to have a family and have children. Adoption is not new to our family as Thomas has a sister who was adopted, and we have experienced firsthand the love that comes from adoption and the joy adoption can bring to a family. We are excited to invest in a child and help them experience the world in which they live. We can’t wait to devote all our time and love to a child!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
