We admire you for your strength, commitment and courage to consider adoption. We firmly believe the concept of family is a gift and we commit ourselves to providing a welcoming, loving, strong and stable family for your child. We respect your role in this child’s life and want to build an open relationship with you. We are forever grateful to you for considering us as the adoptive parents for your child.
We want to assure you that, along with our extended family and friends, we will provide a loving home, rich in opportunity and experiences for your child. We value education, faith, family, and friendship, and hold morals and values in high regard. We want you to know we have the best intentions at heart for both you and your baby.
Thank you for taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents for your child. We look forward to the opportunity to connect with you on your journey. There are no better words to express our gratefulness to you for this gift, but simply, thank you!
Family is at the core of everything we do-Sunday breakfast after church, watching football, playing games, planning outings, and creating any reason to enjoy time together. Our family consists of Heather, a middle school teacher who is passionate about education and making a difference in each day, Thomas, a truck driver who enjoys the changing scenery of the open road, but feels like nothing compares to the feeling of coming home every day, and Thomas’s two school-aged daughters from a previous relationship that spend part of their time in our home. Thomas enjoys golf and movies, while Heather likes shopping and books. As a family, we enjoy game nights, cookouts, family vacations, and holiday celebrations. We are a harmonious couple with coinciding morals, values, hopes, and dreams.
Our Home & Pets
We own a 4-bedroom 2-bathroom Cape Cod style home in a small semi-rural town in Central Illinois, which prides itself on a close-knit sense of community. Our town is rich in local events, such as fairs, festivals, community theater, and holiday celebrations. We live in close proximity to the library, neighborhood and state parks, and a community lake. Our town is home to an exceptional and thriving school district, feeder high school, and a community college. People in our town often return to reinvest themselves and raise a family in the community they grew up in, so too have Heather and her extended family. Our neighborhood is full of life - children playing together, runners and walkers, and friendly neighbors who have lived on our street for years. We have planted our roots in the town we call home.
Our Extended Family
Heather grew up as an only child surrounded by extended family and friends. From card games to cooking traditional family recipes, there was always a reason to get together. It is still that way to this day. We are lucky to all live in the same community and often spend weekends and holidays together. Thomas’s family is from the Texas and Louisiana areas. Growing up, he enjoyed family trips and visiting out of state family members. Although his family still lives in those states, he stays in contact with his grandmother, parents, aunt and uncle, and sister. Together, Thomas and Heather have created new family traditions and carried on family traditions from their pasts.
What Led Us To Adoption
As a couple, we knew adoption was our choice in how to build a family of our own. From the very beginning of our relationship, we often shared conversations about our hearts choosing adoption. For us, it was never a question, but rather a goal to adopt in our future. After marriage, we knew the time was right to commit ourselves to the journey of adoption. We look forward to the opportunity to adopt a child and would be forever thankful to you for helping us complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
