Dear Birthmom

We understand it is not an easy choice to place your child in another’s care. We respect and honor your consideration of an adoption plan for your precious child. Please know that if you choose us as adoptive parents, your baby will be protected by a safe, trustworthy, and loving family. Your child has an incredible future ahead of him or her. Our hope is that we can be the ones to give your baby all our love, guidance, and support.

If you choose us, we cannot wait to hold this gift of life in our arms. Please know we are filled with admiration and respect for you and your strength and courage. We see adoption as an incredible privilege and blessing to help us grow our family and make our dreams come true. It is our hope to build a partnership with you, if you’d like one where we both play important roles in giving your child the best life possible.

Thank you so much for considering us!

About Us

We are Tanner and Sarah. After meeting two years ago, we decided to marry and begin building a family. We already have one sweet boy named William, who is incredibly eager for a sibling. Currently, Tanner works as a nuclear mechanic on a submarine while Sarah stays at home with William and pursues her Professional Counseling degree. Sarah describes herself as fun-loving and thoughtful, while Tanner sees himself as kind and hardworking, with a relentlessly positive attitude. These days we spend much of our free time at home, working together on D.I.Y. projects and building forts in the living room. We live near the beach and take just about any opportunity to get there. We are dreamers with grand aspirations: Tanner to write novels, Sarah to travel the world, and William to become a train conductor. But our collective dream is to welcome an adoptive child to our family and make him or her feel loved.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a cheerful yellow house on a quiet cul-de-sac. Our home is 1500 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are tons of windows to let in plenty of sunshine in the morning. During the winter months, we settle in next to the fireplace with a good book. Otherwise, we are out in the yard where Tanner works on carpentry, Sarah gardens, and William plays in his fort. The weather here in the southeast is usually sunny. Drew, our miniature dachshund, loves to accompany us to the beach on weekends. In our neighborhood, there are many families with young children who all enjoy playing at the neighborhood park together. We feel like it’s the perfect place for us to raise our family.

Our Extended Family

Sarah and her three sisters grew up on an island in Indonesia where her parents served as missionaries. Tanner spent most of his life in the Midwest where his parents raised him and his two sisters in a simple farmhouse. Both of us are unashamed to admit that our family members double as our closest friends, too. It is an exciting time for our families, with our sisters all getting married and beginning families of their own. Our first niece, Juniper, was born just a few months ago. Amidst all the growth, our families remain very close, both geographically and relationally, with a high commitment to frequent visits and adventures. Both Sarah’s and Tanner’s parents have been married for over 30 years and serve as excellent models and mentors with their love and encouragement. They also make for pretty excellent grandparents, too! Nearly every holiday is either spent trekking to one of their homes or hosting the time of celebration at our own, building memories that we will cherish for our entire lifetimes.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption has always held a special place in our hearts. Upon finding that our plans to adopt were so similar, we decided to move forward in the process right away. We have witnessed several first-hand accounts of how powerful adoption can be, both from those who have adopted and those who have been adopted. To be a part of that would be so special. After settling into our home, we now feel that our family is ready to welcome another member.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
