Dear Birthmom

There are few circumstances in life where words do not seem to do justice to the gravity of the situation at hand. This is one of those times. However, we will endeavor to as best we can as we embark on this journey together.

We can scarcely envision what conflicts of conscience and changing emotions you must be experiencing. Such an emotionally charged event is hard to imagine. For we too are running the gamut of emotions. From immense gratitude and joy through to anxiety and nervousness. Even with our experience of deep loss over the past few years, with multiple failed pregnancies, miscarriages, and unsuccessful procedures, we can barely begin to understand the emotions you must be dealing with.

Adoption is one of the most selfless and loving things a mother can do. We will not let you or your baby down. Your child will be loved, cherished, and supported for the rest of our lives.

About Us

Stuart is originally from Northern England. He came over to the United States in 1999. He has been in the IT industry for over 25 years. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer of a business travel startup, but has worked for companies such as Expedia and Kmart. Jenn was born and raised in Los Angeles area. She worked in the Marketing industry for over 15 years before ‘retiring’ to focus on her own small organic dog food company and tidying up after Stuart and Izzy, our 8 year old French bulldog.

We both love to travel, having visited over 60 countries together over the last ten years. Some of our favorites have been Russia, Monaco, Italy, and India. Stuart enjoys photography, aviation, car racing, and cooking. Jenn loves to read, work out, hiking, and eat Stuart’s cooking.

Our Home & Pets

We have an eight-year-old French bulldog named Isabella (Izzy for short). She is and extremely loving dog and is never happier than when on the couch getting a hug. In between her naps and snacks, she enjoys a good game of chase around the house. We live in a 5 bedroom detached house overlooking a beautiful lake in the Pacific Northwest. It is a relatively new build and we are the first owners of the property. We are one of three homes on the street. All our neighbors get along very well and often socialize together. The area is very quiet but we are only minutes away from a shopping mall and twenty minutes away from the town center. We recently added a new French bulldog puppy, Evie to the family. She is sweet and loves to cuddle.

Our Extended Family

Our extended family is somewhat dispersed. Stuart is an only child and his father has passed away. Stuart’s Mother lives in the United Kingdom, and visits once a year for a month at a time. Jenn’s parents and brother live in the Los Angeles area. Jenn has an aunt and uncle and their family living quite close by and we do spend time with them. We spend most of the major holidays together as an extended family and it usually involves lots of good home cooking.

What Led Us To Adoption

Interestingly, Stuart had always wanted to adopt. We initially decided to try to have biological children. After many miscarriages and failed pregnancies, as well as a failed round of IVF we arrived back at the adoption option. We looked at international and domestic adoptions and felt that domestic was the better way forward for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
