Dear Birthmom

Thank you for considering adoption for your baby, and for considering us as adoptive parents. We have longed for a child to love for many years. Both our families have a history of adoption, so we know firsthand how amazing and wonderful it can be. Adoption is all about love, from everyone involved - especially you. Your child will always know about the loving choice you made for them, and of our love and respect for you.

We look forward to providing a safe and loving “forever home” for your baby, filled with hugs and kisses, faith, and fun. We believe education is valuable and promise to do everything we can to help your child succeed in life. As a family, we’ll enjoy traveling, learning together, chasing dreams, and creating meaningful lifelong memories and traditions. Most of all, we’ll rejoice in the unique story of how he or she came to be part of our family.

About Us

We like to say we are almost high school sweethearts. We met in the fifth grade, went to the same high school and worked at the same fast food restaurant in our hometown. But we didn’t actually date at the time. In fact, we both worked the evening of our senior prom, and when Steven walked in and saw Christina, he said, “I should have asked you to the prom!” We left for different colleges and became good friends on Facebook. Steven served a two-year mission for our church and his mother was the only person who wrote him more regularly than Christina. We started dating when he got home, and we got married soon after. We’ve now been married for about seven years.

Originally from Utah, we moved to Wisconsin for Steven’s career. He’s a regulatory food scientist and helps develop new food products. Christina is an avid reader, so naturally, she works at our local library, runs an editing business for self-published authors, and is writing her first novel. Together we love camping, hiking, and road trips. We cover our fridge with souvenir magnets from our travels and plan to visit every national park.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a three-bedroom home in a nice complex with plenty of green grass and where the neighborhood kids love to play. The complex is designed with families in mind, so we have nice views and an open-concept kitchen and living space. Across the street is a golf course, a Boys-and-Girls Club, and a well-maintained walking/biking path we enjoy using. Recently we adopted a cat and her name is Hazel. We absolutely love her, even when she has lots of energy! She certainly keeps us entertained. She likes watching birds and cars out the window.

Our Extended Family

Steven is the oldest of four boys and has a large extended family, including several adopted cousins. Both sides of his family are very close. Most aunts and uncles live within an hour’s drive of each other in Utah, so they see each other often. Everyone gets together at least once a year.

Christina is the second oldest of eight children, and all of her younger siblings were adopted. Several of her siblings are married with young children. We love being an aunt and uncle and playing with the babies and kiddos when we all get together! Both families still live in our hometown in Utah, which makes visiting them a lot easier. We love being able to see both families when we go home for the holidays. Both families are also very close and supportive.

What Led Us To Adoption

With six adopted siblings in her family, Christina’s life has been incredibly blessed by adoption. Because of the positive impact adoption has had in her family, we’ve always been interested in adopting. All six adopted siblings are biracial, so we have a wonderfully varied and colorful family.

Christina has a special memory of going to the airport to meet a new sibling. On the day her dad and the baby came home, we all went to the airport to wait for them. Her dad regaled them with stories of how the flight attendants had all wanted to help with the baby, and they each took turns holding him, right there in the busy airport! We look forward to having a similar adoption story.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
