dear expectant mother
Words cannot express our respect and awe for the courage and strength it must take to make the decisions you are facing right now. We are beyond honored to even be considered as an option to receive what we believe is the greatest gift we could ever receive. The privilege of being able to provide love and care for a child brings tears of joy to our eyes.
We appreciate that you’re giving us a chance; a chance to know you, a chance to get to know your baby, a chance to give him or her a loving, wonderful environment. We will do our best to raise your child with the knowledge that they had an incredibly loving and selfless birthmother who saw in us the desire to share happiness, love and care with them and gave us the chance to have yet another person to say “I Love You” to daily.
Though we’ve only been married for 4 years, we have been together for 14 and have known each other since before we were teenagers. Together we enjoy concerts, drive-in movies, sitting around campfires, and the occasional hockey game.
Steve is a construction worker turned Drug and Alcohol Counselor. He changed careers because of his strong desire to help others improve their lives. He enjoys punk rock music, challenging jigsaw puzzles and the company of family and loved ones. Lynn works in the field of Intellectual Disabilities and Mental Health where she strives to care for those that need assistance in building a happy and productive life. Lynn loves a good book and she adores spending time with nieces and nephews. Our relationship may seem simple from the outside, but it is so full of love.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet neighborhood in a small town that is right outside of what would be considered “country living.” We have access to 2 playgrounds, a swimming pool and a school - all within 3 blocks of us. The neighborhood kids are energetic, yet polite.
We have 3 female house cats: Boots, Smoke, and Tizzy. Boots velcros herself to you to make sure you know she is there. Smoke is Boots’ biological sister. She is a larger cat that likes to dictate when she gets attention. Tizzy is 4 and is equal parts mischief and affection. She is the first to get into trouble but is sweet enough to lay on your chest and lick your face to show love.
Our Extended Family
Lynn has a 22-year-old adult son, Caleb, from a previous relationship, that Steve is proud to call his son as well. She is the middle child of 3 girls. Both her older and younger sister live within 30 minutes of us. We have 2 nephews and 1 niece on her side of the family. Steve has 2 older brothers, 2 younger brothers, and 3 younger sisters. They all enjoy sarcasm, a good laugh, and getting together for the holidays as well as other family functions. There are 20 total nieces and nephews that range in age from 2 to 24. Steve’s mother is loving and enjoys nothing more than to spend time with her grandchildren and children. We both have a strong bond with our families and they are so excited to support us in our adoption journey!
What Led Us To Adoption
We were led to adoption out of our desire to provide love and caring in this crazy world. Lynn has an adult son, but as a couple have been unable to conceive. We would love the chance to share our lives, love and happiness with a child and raise them with the same desire to share that with all they come into contact with as well.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
