Dear Birthmom

Thank you so much for taking the time to look through our profile. We understand that you have had to make an incredibly tough decision. With the amount of love we have in our hearts for each other and for a child, we know that we could provide a wonderful, safe, and loving home. Our families are thrilled with our choice. For us, our decision to adopt came easily. We have several family members and family friends that are adopted. Seeing the amazing relationships and wonderful children that we have been blessed to call family would never have been possible without the gift of adoption.

We look forward to family vacations, teaching our child to play sports, going to sporting events, and spending time with the dogs and our families. We have always wanted to be parents. We will do everything in our power to ensure that your child has every opportunity we can possibly give them to be happy. The joy of becoming parents is something we can’t naturally do ourselves. If we were chosen to become parents, it would be the greatest blessing we could ever receive. We promise that your child would know what a gift you have given them and that your choice was out of love. All we want is a child to love and care for. Thank you so much for giving us that opportunity.

About Us

We met 14 years ago in college, and after being friends for 4 years began dating and never looked back. We have been married for 9 years. Steve is a Senior Account Manager for an electric company. He enjoys his work and loves that he gets to help local and national businesses increase efficiencies in energy management. Jen is a Logistics Manager for a well-known retailer. Two years ago, we made the decision to move from Illinois to Florida, and have loved every minute of it! We love going to sporting events, so this has given us a chance to cheer on new teams. We have also found our local horse ranch with all rescues that we frequent on the weekends. We love to ride for the day, or just stop by for a few hours to feed all the horses and goats. We absolutely love the beach, and have spent countless weekends there. We love body boarding and riding wave runners. Jen is very active and loves running. Her other hobbies include cooking, reading, and interior design. Steve is passionate about basketball and loves playing and coaching. We also love traveling and spending time with our dogs. Luckily, we have family nearby, and 2 amazing families and friends that are always willing to come down for a visit. It is rare that we go more than a few weeks without visitors from home.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a 4 bedroom 2.5 bath house in central Florida. Our backyard is fenced and has a beautiful pool with a brick patio and gorgeous landscaping. It is wonderful to walk out in the morning and see the water sparkling. We live in a quiet community filled with children and parks. Our community is very friendly, and there are always people walking their dogs and children riding their bikes. We have three amazing little dogs we have rescued from shelters. Chloe is a 12 year old Bichon mix, Sophie is a 7 year old Brussels Griffon mix, and Milo, our newest addition is a 1 year old Border Terrier. They love going for walks, laying in the sun on the patio, and playing with each other.

Our Extended Family

Steve grew up in a small town in Northern Illinois with his parents and brother. His entire family lived within 20 minutes, and growing up he got to see all of his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins often. His family is extremely close, with very close bonds. Steve’s family visits us often in Florida. Steve’s brother lives down the street from his parents with his wife and 3 sons. This is wonderful for us because when we go home to visit, we get to spend a lot of time with our nephews, and we often take them out for the day doing whatever they choose. Steve’s grandfather lives in Florida part time as well, so we spend as much time as we can with him while he is here.

Jen grew up in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago with her parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. Her entire extended family lives within an hour. Much like Steve’s, Jen’s family is always together. There isn’t a month that goes by that her family isn’t getting together. We try and get home as often as we can to enjoy the time we can spend as a family. Jen’s younger sister has two sons who we also are fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with whenever we visit. In addition, Jen’s family visits often. We rarely go a month without a visit from a family member.

What Led Us To Adoption

We were married for 3 years when we decided that the time was right to have a child. We tried to conceive naturally for a year before we went on to infertility treatments. After a year of still not becoming pregnant, we decided to take a break from treatment. A year later, we opted not to go back for infertility treatments. We felt in our heart that we were meant to adopt, and this path had always been waiting for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
