dear expectant mother
Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to tell you how grateful we are that you’re considering us to raise your child. Thank you doesn’t seem like enough to express our gratitude for your possible blessing to our family. But thank you is what we say to you because we are thankful for you. We are thankful for your strength and bravery through this journey. We are thankful for your willingness and desire to give your child the best possible future they can have. Thank you.
We want you to know that we are committed to loving and caring for your child as if they were our own. We promise to raise them in a loving and joy-filled home while instilling good values and kindness in them.
Our children are overjoyed at the possibility of having another sibling to love, protect, and cherish. We can just imagine watching our kids in the backyard teaching him or her to catch a baseball or ride a bike or watching your child decorate cookies at Christmas time with all of their cousins at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. The future we see for your child is bright!
We are praying for you as you go through this journey. Thank you so much for considering giving us the opportunity to raise your child.
We are a fun-loving, family-oriented, and very active couple. Shaun is a sourcing engineer at a local orthopedic company. He’s been employed there for over 20 years. Julie is a bookkeeper for her family’s agricultural business. Working at her family’s business allows Julie to be a full-time caregiver to our children while also contributing financially to our family. We have four very sweet and active children. We absolutely love watching our kids at their sporting events and various activities. We are very involved in our kids’ schools as well. Shaun is a basketball coach, and Julie is often a “team mom” providing snacks and helping with activities in the classroom or for sports teams. Our favorite time together as a family is movie nights, and we do this as often as possible. There is nothing better than popcorn and snuggles on the couch with the ones we love!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a five-bedroom ranch-style house on a farm in rural northern Indiana. We have a lot of area outside to run and play. We spend most of our time in the summer outdoors with our children swimming, gardening, playing basketball or baseball, riding bikes, or playing with our many animals. We have two dogs, lots of kittens, cows, and chickens. We’re not too far from town, but we love the fact that we still live in the country and our kids have the wide open space to play in nature and use their imaginations.
Our Extended Family
We have a large extended family. Julie works with her parents and all of her brothers every day. We live very close to them all as well. Our kids’ best friends are their cousins, and they spend so much time together. There is lots of swimming and sleepovers at Grandma and Grandpa’s house in the summer, and we all love to play in the snow and sled on the hills in our fields in the winter. We love to get together and celebrate as often as possible, so birthdays and holidays are a BIG DEAL in our family. We all go to church together and love to spend Sunday afternoons having lunch and just being together.
We are so fortunate to be able to vacation on a regular basis with all or part of our extended family. Our favorite trip was our family cruise to the Caribbean that the entire family went on, but we have just as much fun on our short weekend camping trips as well.
We are a family that loves and cherishes our children. We love each other’s kids as if they were our own. Our families cannot wait to add another child to our big happy family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are a family with so much love to give. We both feel that our greatest calling and gift in life is being parents, and we feel led to add to our family through adoption. It has been a desire that we have both had since we got married. We have always planned to have a blended family of biological and adopted children. Adoption is already a part of our family story. Our oldest son is biologically Julie’s but was adopted by Shaun as soon as we were married. Adoption is near and dear to our hearts, and we pray that our family can be blessed through adoption once again.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
