dear expectant mother
We are so honored that you have taken the time to read a little bit about us. Your selfless decision is inspiring and shows the unconditional love you have for your child. One thing your child will never doubt is love—the love you have for them and our love for them.
Words cannot express how excited we are to become a family of three. We can’t wait to share our traditions, adventures, and hearts with our child. Our entire family is very excited to have another little one to spoil, and they can’t wait to help us pass down traditions with all the other cousins and grandbabies! We promise to love him or her unconditionally. We also promise to nurture a love for education and learning, encourage him or her to dream big, and teach him or her to see the best in every person.
We know this process cannot be easy for you, but we want you to know you will have our support from the beginning to the end as we go down this path together. Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and giving us an opportunity to share our story with you.
We recently celebrated our 15-year wedding anniversary. Justin is a forklift operator, and Shannon is a procurement specialist with a manufacturing company. Justin is an amazing artist, and lately his passion is spray paint art. Our nieces and nephews love coming over to paint! He enjoys fishing, camping, and construction—anything from house repairs to Halloween props. Shannon loves swimming, board/card games, baking, and anything to do with animals. We have two rescued dogs, Bella and Athena, and two cats, Milo and Sophia. Both dogs LOVE kids and give a million kisses and cuddles every time nieces and nephews come over. In our free time, we enjoy traveling. Our goal is to hit all the states! We are looking forward to sharing our love of travel with our children and giving them a chance to explore new places and try new things.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a quiet neighborhood. Our home is a three-bedroom, two-bath ranch-style home with a huge fenced-in backyard and farmland just behind it. Each year we put up a pool to enjoy in the summer, and we are looking forward to having a little swimmer! We live within minutes of both the elementary and middle school in our area, and there are a lot of neighborhood children to play with. Our community has many family-oriented events throughout the year, such as Movie Night in the Park, a community BBQ, and downtown festivals. Our dogs and cats love children. We can see them following a child around as they grow up!
Our Extended Family
Our family is filled with lots of love and laughter; there is never a dull moment. Shannon has a large extended family, while Justin has a small family. We are very close to Justin’s cousin and her family as they were raised very closely together and consider each other siblings. His mother has just settled into a local nursing home, and we visit her as much as possible.
Family traditions are very important to us, including enjoying the holiday get-togethers, playing board games, baking, having bonfires, etc. We enjoy hosting too. Justin’s family comes over to our house for each holiday, and we host Easter for Shannon’s family. Easter egg hunts are a MUST; we love searching for tiny treasures to put in the eggs each year! We also make a point several times a year to treat our nieces and nephews to adventures, taking them to the zoo, pumpkin patches, paintball, children’s museums, and festivals or even just to spend the night and play games or watch movies. Our families could not be happier to gain a new addition to the family, and they fully support our plans for adoption.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always knew we wanted to be parents. After trying for many years without any luck, we found out Shannon has PCOS. We started fertility treatments initially but knew we were unlikely to be able to become pregnant and started discussing adoption as our next path forward. Ultimately we became pregnant, but the pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. After lots of prayers, we strongly feel adoption is the path we were meant to take. We are excited to expand our family through adoption and share the love, laughter, and support our families have always given us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
