dear expectant mother

We can only imagine how overwhelmed you may be feeling at this moment as you are putting your baby’s needs first. We want to let you know that this, the most selfless act you are considering, is not going unnoticed. It will never be forgotten, and if we have the honor of raising your child, they will surely know you made your adoption plan with them in your heart. We want your child to grow up knowing how much they are loved, grateful for all the opportunities you as their mother have provided them with your brave act.

As we grow our family through adoption, we will grow to appreciate every single moment. We will not take any of these beautiful memories for granted. If we are chosen to be your child's adoptive parents, we are ready and willing to build a relationship with you. You can play a key role in your child’s life, of course, depending on what you are comfortable with.

We appreciate you taking your time to read through our profile. As you make the hard decision on what is best for your baby and you, we send you our well wishes. We will be here patiently waiting for our turn to become adoptive parents.

About Us

Shannon loves to make everyone laugh, and Danny is always waiting for a good laugh. We are both very family focused, which is one of the things that attracted us to each other. For almost ten years, we have grown together, getting married and becoming parents to a wonderful baby boy, and we look forward to many more years of growing our family. We are both proud blue-collar workers, working for the utility companies of our city. We love to do hands-on work and enjoy being outdoors, except for when it is below zero of course. Danny loves to watch whatever sport is in season but loves everything football. Shannon enjoys trying her hand at DIY projects around the house. However, our favorite place and time is at home with our two-year-old son and our dogs.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a family-friendly, diverse neighborhood and are walking distance from the playground and elementary school. We are in a suburb of Illinois, just outside the city. Our home is cozy, with three bedrooms and a family room along with a large backyard with plenty of room to play. Our two dogs also enjoy having plenty of room to run and love playing and hanging out around the house. Our village has fun family activities planned throughout the year, which we love to participate in as a family. We are also close to a stadium that hosts sporting events, concerts, and festivals.

Our Extended Family

We are both so grateful for our loving and supportive families. Shannon comes from a close-knit family; as a bonus, they all live within 20 minutes of each other. We have a family dinner once a week at our home and usually accompany it with a movie. Daniel’s family is also local, except for a brother we love to visit in Arizona every year. Daniel’s father loves to garden, and this year he helped Daniel plant in our backyard. Daniel is now looking forward to learning more about gardening to show our little ones how special it is to grow your own food.

We also have a tight friend circle, where everyone has young children. We get together often for playdates and enjoy watching them grow together. Everyone is looking forward to our new addition and ready to share their love.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are overjoyed with the opportunity of becoming parents again. Parenthood has been an amazing journey to get where we are today. After going through a tough delivery and recovery process, we decided adoption would be our healthiest and happiest opportunity to add to our family. Adoption starts with a loving and courageous decision, and we want to continue the love and be supportive and understanding parents. It has been a dream to have a home full of love and laughter, and we are eager to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
