dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you so much for considering trusting us to be a mom and dad with the most precious gift you can give anyone. We will never know how difficult this decision was for you to make. For you or anyone to make a decision like this is very admirable and brave, and we are in awe of you.
We can promise you that any baby we are lucky enough to raise will be so loved and cherished; they will have the best life you could possibly want for them. They would always feel loved and wanted, probably to the point they will be annoyed by us. Lol. We know for a fact they would be so spoiled by both sets of grandparents for being the first grandchild in the family. Again, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us.
About Us
We are both active people and enjoy the outdoors, fishing, and boating. Chris enjoys the outdoors at our family home in Colorado. We enjoy and love our furbabies; we have a dog and two cats. Shannon is an appraiser, and Chris runs his fathers plumbing company. We have both been in our jobs for 20 years. Shannon is the more talkative, outgoing personality, and Chris is pretty quiet and the easiest-going man you could meet.
Our Home & Pets
We have built a beautiful home in a rural area not far from town. We have lots of land around us with cows on it. We live in a very friendly community in Florida. We have one dog, named Daisy, who is a mixed breed, and two cats named Bob and Dixie. Bob was a stray that showed up and needed a home. Dixie is 18 years old and loves children.
Our Extended Family
Shannon comes from a family with two older brothers. Her parents have been married for 42 years. She has a cousin she grew up with who is like a sister. She also has an aunt who lives in town. Shannon’s cousin just had a baby boy who added so much love to the family in March 2023.
Chris is an only child. His parents have been married 41 years. Chris has a very large extended family with 12 first cousins. Both of our parents live nearby and are waiting for a grandbaby. They are excited to become grandparents for the first time.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always dreamed of becoming parents and having a baby. Unfortunately, we discovered we are not able to have biological children, but that hasn’t changed our dream of creating a family. After careful thought and many conversations, we found we both saw our future family being created through the beauty of adoption. We are so excited to be here!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
