dear expectant mother

We are honored and grateful to be considered as part of your adoption plan. We would like to invite you to take a glimpse into our life and home in hopes to provide you with some insight of what we can provide to your child as a family. We are looking forward to being first-time parents through the blessing of adoption. Any child who enters our home will receive unconditional love, nurturing, emotional and financial stability, a safe and stable home, and a good education.

We want your child to have all the opportunities and experiences that life has to offer. As parents, we will introduce them to music, dancing, different cultures, sports, travel, and education. We have extended family and friends with many traditions to share, such as Christmas Eve dinners, Fourth of July parades, fireworks, Easter egg hunts, family reunions, pumpkin carving, and so much more. Your child will always have a loving and supportive environment with extended family and friends, forming relationships to last a lifetime.

We can’t wait to take your child on family vacations to Disney World, Universal Studios or cruises to the Caribbean. In addition, we are looking forward to doing activities such as going the zoo, the park, reading bedtime stories, snuggling in bed, playing sports, riding a bike, and learning how to swim. It would be such an honor for us to be given the opportunity to raise your child.

About Us

Shane is a licensed contractor and the co-owner of his family business. Kristina has a B.S. in Biology and is a registered nurse.; she works within a specialty area at a local hospital. We met at an apartment complex and have been together over eight years. Outside of work, we love to visit Disney Theme Parks and Universal Studios, go to the movies and dinner, or just grab a cup of coffee! We also enjoy traveling and spending time with extended family and friends. It really doesn’t matter what activity we do, as long as we are spending quality time together. Shane is very loving, and Kristina is very compassionate. Together, we call ourselves “home team,” and we can overcome any obstacle, big or small, together as a family.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a beautiful four-bedroom, three-bath house in Florida, close to the beaches and theme parks. We are also close to the local nature trails, museums, zoos, and parks. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood, right around the corner from some of the top-rated schools in the district. We have amazing neighbors with children of all ages, and we have a large backyard where our three Chihuahuas can run and play. We also have an indoor cat named Scout. We love our animals, and they are a huge part of our family. There are so many things to see and do here, and we are excited to share these experiences with your child.

Our Extended Family

Shane has one brother, who has given him three nieces and a nephew, and Shane’s parents have been married almost 40 years. We all get together to celebrate birthdays, holidays, dance recitals, family vacations to Disney World, and Sunday family dinners. Once a year, we all go on a cruise with extended family, including aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. We also like to have sleepovers with our nieces and nephews on the weekend.

Kristina is the oldest of three. Her sister has two children, and her brother has one child. Her mother and stepfather have been happily married for eight years. Her family gets together on holidays, family reunions, weddings, camping trips, and birthdays. Her favorite family tradition is Christmas Eve dinner with extended family. We get together and have a small gift exchange, watch Christmas specials, bake cookies, sing Christmas carols, and eat pasta with a homemade sauce from scratch that takes all day to cook!

We are very blessed to have such an amazing family. We discussed our plan to adopt with our family and everyone was more than excited and supportive about welcoming a new baby into our lives.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always imagined a life with children in it. We began trying to conceive as soon as we were married, but after several miscarriages we found out that we had underlying infertility issues; therefore, a traditional birth was not our path. However, we still had the dream of becoming parents. Our wish is to share our love with a child, and our hearts have always been open to adoption, as Shane’s grandmother was adopted and we have many friends who were adopted. Adoption gives us hope for the family we always wanted, and we can’t wait to share our home and our lives with a new baby.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
