You are facing a decision that we know cannot possibly be easy or simple. We know you’re going through so much right now, and we admire the strength and courage you’ve shown by seeking out a family to raise and love your child. It might be hard to feel just yet, but please know that we already love you and respect your decision.
Our home is so full of love, laughter, learning, and connections with family. The years we’ve been married have been full of unexpected challenges and surprises, but we’ve grown closer together through every experience and have such an amazing support system to fall back on. We have a large family, a good church community, and lots of support that will welcome and love your child. We will encourage the child to be independent, value family, respect others and live to be happy. Our goal is to give your child love, security, education, guidance, and support their interests as he/she grows up. We love each other very deeply and after all of these years together, we know we still have more love to give.
Words cannot express how grateful and honored we would be if you gave us this opportunity. We thank you for your consideration and no matter what your decision is, we hope you find peace with it.
It all began when Catherine’s sister, who is married to Sean’s cousin, had the bright idea that Catherine could help Sean meet people when he moved to Kansas City. Even though she didn’t specifically set us up, we spent so much time together attending sporting events, wine tasting and ballroom dancing that our love story took shape, ultimately leading to our marriage of 13 years and counting.
Catherine is a customer service representative; she has found her passion in helping others. She is currently working from home most of the time. She enjoys reading, walking, training for half marathons, and has recently started making crafts to decorate our home. Sean is a healer, he helps people recover from injury while working as an athletic trainer and Physical Therapy Assistant. He usually works 4 long days a week and spends his free time with friends and family. Sean’s hobbies include photography, cooking, cycling, golf, and watching most sports but he especially enjoys baseball and football most.
Our Home & Pets
We live in central Iowa in a house located at the end of a cul-de-sac near a lot of safe green area to play. Our subdivision is kid friendly and adjacent to a local lake and has many parks with playgrounds. There are a lot of walking and bike trails nearby where our family will be able to spend time together. We will be able to swim at the beach on the lake as well. Our community has a lot to offer, including cultural & educational events such as the Hispanic, Irish, and Italian Festivals. Other activities include the farmer’s market, a hot air balloon festival, art fairs, and sporting events just to name a few. We share our home with our new Beagle puppy Tanner. He is so much fun!
Our Extended Family
Catherine is the 3rd born of 4 siblings. She is from a Hispanic family that values close ties with family. Her home was near her grandmother’s and aunt’s home and both played a significant role in her life. Her mom, dad, and aunt, to this day, live in her childhood home. Her siblings and their children live nearby. She is excited to teach her child Spanish so they can chat with her parents.
Sean is the oldest of 3, with one younger sister and brother. He grew up on a farm in central Iowa and comes from a large extended family that lives in the area. Sean lost his dad to a farm accident but his mother lives close and is a vital part of our lives. Both of our families are supportive and come from diverse backgrounds that we look forward to sharing.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have always desired to have a family but after several years of trying through natural means, we concluded that we needed some help to make our dreams a reality. We first tried fertility treatments, and unfortunately, we were unsuccessful. This experience left us emotionally scarred but it opened us up to the potential for growing our family through adoption. We are so excited to share our love and lives and grow our family in this beautiful way. We have cousins and friends who are and have adopted so we’ve had the chance to fall in love with this option for our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
