We want to thank you for taking the time to view our profile. We can only imagine the difficult time that you are facing, and hope to be of support to you. We admire your courage to do what you feel is best for you and your child.
Scott was raised by his step-father who legally adopted him when he was thirteen. Scott’s biggest hope is to be as good of a dad as his dad was to him. Due to Scott being raised by his dad, we know that a parent is the person who raises, loves and provides for the child. While we would be parenting your child, we would want to share with them as much information about you as we both feel comfortable with.
We are unable to have children of our own, but know that we are following God’s plan for us. Our biggest hope is to have a child to love and cherish. Your child would be taught that nothing is impossible without hard work and determination.
If you choose us, your child would be raised in a home filled with love and laughter. They will have a large extended family to spoil them. Both of us are looking forward to being active in school activities and any other activity that your child chooses. We will always be grateful to you for giving us this opportunity to expand our family.
We have been happily married since July 2008, and together since August 2006. Priscilla works as a Certified Public Accountant in a local accounting firm. Scott is a warehouse manager for a locally owned plumbing company. We believe that communication, humor, and forgiveness are key to any successful relationship. We try to find the humor in most situations. We enjoy a variety of activities together, such as camping, attending concerts (mainly country), and our annual visits to Disneyland. Most of our camping trips are with either family or friends. On the weekends we take our dog to the park or for a walk. We try to have a barbecue with our friends and family who live locally at least once a month. We also have hobbies and activities we do separately. Scott enjoys racing his remote control cars and Priscilla enjoys reading a good book. We enjoy spending time with our family and friends. We attend a local Lutheran church.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a two-story, 4-bedroom, two-bath, single-family home in Northern California Wine Country. We have a small backyard that is fenced in. The neighborhood backs up to a good elementary school with a park. We have great neighbors that range from college students to retired individuals. There are quite a few kids in the neighborhood already. The neighbors are respectful and willing to help each other out. Our dog, Bailey, is one year old. She is a husky, golden retriever and collie mix and full of energy.
Our Extended Family
Between us, we have 3 siblings, 4 nieces, and 3 nephews. Priscilla’s father passed away in 2007. Her mom lives a mile away. Priscilla has one sister and one brother. Priscilla’s sister and her two boys live five miles away. Unfortunately, Priscilla’s brother and his son and daughter do not live close to us, so we do not see them as much as we would like. Scott’s parents live an 8-hour drive away. Scott has one sister that lives close to his parents. We see them at least once a year, but usually two to three times a year. We alternate Christmas and Thanksgiving between the families. When we spend the holidays with Scott’s family it is always a large get together with his aunt, uncle, and cousins.
What Led Us To Adoption
We always knew we wanted a child. After being married for a few years, and not becoming pregnant, we went to the doctor who ran tests. They told us we would not be able to conceive a baby. Before we were married we had discussed what we would do if infertility were an issue because some of our friends and family had infertility issues. We had decided that we would adopt. We believe that the trials and tribulations we went through without success was God’s way of telling us the way we are to expand our family is through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
