dear expectant mother
We are thankful for you and the sacrifice you’re about to make. We can’t imagine the difficult decision ahead of you, and we admire the courage you have. We hope that you reading these pages is just the beginning of our relationship. Your willingness and selflessness to allow your child to have an opportunity you could not give them is such a beautiful gift.
We are keeping you and your baby in our thoughts while you move through this journey. We look forward to growing a relationship with you and ensuring that your child will know of your bravery. We want to share just how much endless love your child will receive from us and our own family; our own journey in creating a family has proven to us the true faith and love our family and friends have to offer.
We will raise them in a house focused on family, love, and education. We will teach them hard work, good sportsmanship, good manners, and how to learn from their mistakes. We will give them every chance possible to do their best at whatever they choose in life and to supply them with an endless amount of love.
We wish you and your baby the best on your journey and hope to meet you soon!
We’re Laura and Scott. Our story together began when we met during college working at Culvers. We dated for five years and have been married for seven years. Scott is an engineer for an automotive supplier, and Laura is a store leader for a leading convenience store in the area.
Our love to travel together has led us to Hawaii, Las Vegas, Alaska, Switzerland, Italy, and numerous other places. We would like to share our love for travel with our children and give them a chance to explore new places and try new things. One of our favorite activities are weekly game nights with our friends, including their children, which usually involves dinner too. In our free time, we enjoy golfing, playing volleyball, and going to sporting events. We also enjoy going to the movies and seeing anything from action to the latest Disney flicks.
Our Home & Pets
Our three-bedroom house is located near a scenic trail in southern Wisconsin. The neighborhood is full of school-aged kids, and there is a park and a school within walking distance. A church in our neighborhood always does a big Fourth of July festival with a huge fireworks show. We have two Labrador retrievers: a yellow lab named Koa and a chocolate lab named Denali. They both love playing in our fenced-in back yard and, when not playing, love to be cuddling on the couch. They love playing with children when they come over and can’t wait to become big brothers.
Our Extended Family
Laura’s mother lives about two hours away, along with Laura’s older brother, who is married with two children. Her father passed away six years ago after a long battle with MS. Her mom is already a grandmother to two boys and loves it! Since we live farther away, she will probably make all visits a big deal and will spoil our child with gifts.
Scott’s parents live about an hour away, along with his younger brother. His parents can’t wait to be grandparents, and they will be very loving and involved in their grandchild’s life, attending all the activities that they participate in. One of our favorite traditions is during Christmas, when we spend three days in the Wisconsin Dells with Scott’s mother’s entire family, roughly 50 people.
There’s also a family that might not be related by blood but couldn’t be considered anything but family. We regularly attend the sporting events of their three girls, and holidays and birthdays are always celebrated together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We started trying to grow our family immediately after getting married seven years ago. After trying on our own without any luck, we started fertility treatments. This resulted in a pregnancy on two occasions; however, both pregnancies ended in miscarriage. After deep thought and long conversions with both friends and family, we decided adoption was the right path for us to create our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
