dear expectant mother
We adopted our first and only child eight years ago, and we are excited to joyfully adopt again. Our daughter longs for a brother or sister, and we, too, hope to love, raise, and care for another child.
Our first adoption story was God’s will and timing, and we pray the same as we begin this journey again. We understand various circumstances may lead an expectant mother to consider placing her child for adoption. We understand this is a difficult decision, and we admire you for considering this option and choosing life—the greatest gift.
We will love, care for, and raise your baby to know your love, our love, and God’s love. We will provide a safe and loving home where your child will grow up confident, brave, and strong. Please know we’re praying for you and trusting God’s will and timing to work a miracle in both our lives. We invite you to read more about us as you consider connecting to a family like ours.
We’re a joyful family that likes to laugh and spend time together. We enjoy the outdoors, bike rides, exercising, exploring, reading, serving at church, and family road trip vacations. Scott is a marketing executive who works with graphic designers, videographers, and photographers. Scott is also a professional magician. Lara is a parks and recreation professional and oversees a community center, classes, rentals, and volunteers. Our life is grounded in our faith, supported by our families, blessed by our friends and community, and guided by our joy and life passions.
Our Home & Pets
Nine years ago, we moved into our two-story, three-bedroom home with a nice big front and back yard. Deer graze in our yard daily, which is always exciting to see! We live in a quiet family neighborhood full of nice neighbors and kids. We have a park at the end of our street, which we frequent daily for the playground, sledding hill, and bike path. On weekends, we walk or ride our bikes to our charming downtown, which is less than a mile away, where a beautiful river passes through. There are other parks we visit close by to use the pools, playgrounds, mini-golf, or paddle boats. Our dog Maggie is a cute Jack Russell we adopted at four years old!
Our Extended Family
Scott’s extended family includes his mom and stepfather, three younger sisters, two nephews, several aunts and uncles, and a dozen cousins. Lara’s extended family includes her mom and dad, her sister, two nieces, and several cousins. Scott’s family lives four hours away in the state, and Lara’s family lives five hours north on a small, peaceful lake.
Both families will visit throughout the year, and likewise, we go to visit them for holidays like Easter and Christmas. We enjoy visiting Scott’s extended family on Easter. We attend church, and this is followed by a big family dinner. For Christmas, we spend time with Lara’s family and take a horse-drawn sleigh ride as well as go ice skating.
Our families embrace our decision to adopt and have always given us unconditional love and support.
We both love kids and have always wanted to raise a family. Throughout our lives, we both have had rewarding experiences serving and working with youth. When dating, we discussed pursuing adoption due to fertility issues. After marriage, we began the adoption process, and our daughter has blessed our lives! Now we’re excited to adopt again, and our daughter is excited to become a big sister. To us, adoption is the most precious gift.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
