dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

You are brave, you are compassionate, and you are loved. Your struggle during this time will be honored long after time has dulled the ache of it. The choice you’re considering for your child speaks volumes about you; it means the world to us to possibly be the family you choose.

You have the right to be selective about the family you choose, and we are grateful to be considered. Please know your child’s future with us will be joyful, full of opportunity and support, and loving. We will create as many happy moments as we can, fostering a sense of wonder and a love of learning.

You could be making someone’s dream come true, and we want you to know that even if you do not choose us, we are rooting for you.

Thinking of you,
Sarah & Nathan

About Us

Once upon a time, there was a Ph.D. student and a nurse who were both trying out that online dating thing. Long story short, we were married a year later. We have been married for four joy-filled years and have had two delightful kids, Nora (3) and Milo (almost 2). We are good to each other and to our kids. Nate works as a data scientist, and Sarah is a utilization review nurse. We both work from home, which allows us to be flexible and to spend quality time caring for our family throughout the day. Nate is patient and kind, with many interests, including writing and playing his hurdy-gurdy, a complex medieval instrument. Sarah is upbeat and loving and enjoys expressing her creativity with song and stained glass. We both love cooking and gardening together and trying new things. We are active in our church and our community, and we love to learn.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a beautiful home that has stunning views of the mountains. With walking trails and parks all around, we love to take evening strolls and have picnics. Our fenced-in back yard is a great place to run around and play, or so thinks our sweet goldendoodle, Rizzo, who is great with the kids and so gentle. We also have a very fluffy bunny named Suki, who loves bananas and chasing Nate around. We love our cozy home full of personality. It is a great place for kids to play and learn. We work hard to make our home a peaceful refuge full of exploration and love.

Our Extended Family

We have a large and very loving extended family. Our parents are both within easy driving distance, and it is not unusual to have them show up for a playdate with their grandkids. Nate has three siblings, who all live nearby, and his family enjoys getting together often to play games and talk about books. Sarah has ten siblings. Most are nearby, but some are spread out across the country. When they all get together, you can expect lots of laughter, music, and good cooking. There are many children in our extended family, and Nora and Milo are never without cousins to play with. Everyone is so excited to welcome another baby through adoption.

We frequently take camping trips with Nate’s family and enjoy being outdoors with them. Sarah’s family will come together around Christmas to celebrate with an enormous holiday baking competition, which always remains friendly and is increasingly elaborate.

What Led Us To Adoption

We always knew we wanted to adopt. Even when we were dating, it was something we discussed, and we both felt so drawn to adoption. We have continued to feel this is the right move for our family, and we know now is the time. We are so excited to welcome another child into our home!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
