About Us

Joe works as the Director of Marketing for an ecommerce retailer. In his free time, he likes to put his passion into other things, like putting a pencil to the sketch pad, building something for his wife or daughter, playing guitar, or being the singer of a local cover band. Singing has been something he has done for as long as he can remember. Sarah is a dance instructor at a studio and absolutely loves it. It’s one of the best jobs in the world. She loves getting to watch children learn and grow all year. If she wasn't a dance instructor, she would definitely be an interior decorator. She enjoys decorating and organizing our home. Sarah likes to visit with her best friend and their kids. She also loves going to the movies and the simple things, like taking our dogs for a walk.

Our Home & Pets

Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Downstairs in our fully furnished basement, we have a children’s playroom with various stations and a separate family room where we spend many nights watching family movies together. We have a beautiful backyard with a stone patio and cedar swing set and slide. Our neighborhood is very friendly, and we have many other families around us with children. Our town also has beautiful playgrounds, a family-friendly walking trail to enjoy in the spring and summer, a trampoline park down the street, and many seasonal activities geared toward children. We have two dogs. Our oldest dog is a Bichon/Maltese mix, Wally, who loves to sleep all day. Our younger dog is a playful silky terrier/Maltese, Essie, who loves kids.

Our Extended Family

Joe has two brothers and two sisters (two of whom are step-siblings). Having grown up with a stepfamily, he’s had the opportunity to learn what it's like to love a family you aren’t bonded by blood to. He has thirteen cousins. Some of those cousins have children of their own. One of them he’s currently in a cover band with. Every year his mother’s side would do an Easter egg hunt hosted by his grandma until he grew up and took over the duties.

Sarah has a great relationship with her sister, and she is one of her best friends. They love to go on walks together and have spent many days just talking. She enjoys going over to her parents’ house. They have a pool we can all enjoy less than a mile from where we live. She has a very large extended family since her dad is one of eight brothers and sisters. Family gatherings are always huge and exciting because of how large the family is with all the cousins.

What Led Us To Adoption

The idea of falling in love with another child the way we have with our daughter is the most exciting part of adoption. Adoption has been in our hearts since we got married (nine years and counting). However, it wasn’t until after struggling with infertility and going through multiple rounds of unsuccessful IVF that we realized it was always God’s plan for us to adopt. We feel like the child meant for us has been growing inside our hearts for many years, and we are ready to welcome him or her into our lives, our home, and, most of all, our family. On both sides of our family, we have family members who have been adopted, and it has been a very positive experience.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
