dear expectant mother
We are in such awe of your strength and resilience, and we are simply blown away by the love you have for your child. We know you are trying to determine what is just the right fit for you, your child, and your family, and we hope you know you are both strong and amazing, no matter what you decide.
We have both experienced adoption in our own lives, and it has always been a part of our family plan. We know firsthand some of the emotions and potential challenges that come with being adopted, and we know our own experiences with adoption will give us the ability to relate to an adopted child in a truly unique way.
We promise to raise your child with unconditional love, a passion for being exactly who they are, and a sense of adventure.
About Us
Hello, we’re Sarah and Dean. We met over eight years ago by chance and knew it was something amazing. Dean had to head back home to England (4,000 miles and an ocean away) the day after we met, but we stayed in touch through video chatting and plane trips back and forth. After over a year of doing a long-distance relationship, we married and settled down together when Dean was able to move to the midwest. From the first day we met, we shared a passion for travel and adventure. We both focus on taking life one day at a time and enjoying the moments. Having our son be a two time kidney cancer survivor has brought us even closer together and taught us the incredible importance of balance and family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a suburb of a major city in the midwest and love that we can have a great yard. There is a large park in our neighborhood with playgrounds and fields for kids and pets. Some of our best friends live within a few houses of ours, and we know and talk to our neighbors often. Our backyard is built for kids and has several climbing structures, swings, hopscotch, and a playhouse all ready for another child to play in and love! This year we added a vegetable garden and worm composting so that we can lead a greener life. Last summer we also welcomed a dog into our family! He is the sweetest dog who loves cuddles and playing in our backyard. We also welcomed about a dozen tiny shrimp as pets. They are tiny, cute, and a fun and unique addition to our family. We are also hoping to raise 3-4 hens for eggs in the near future.
Our Extended Family
While we don’t live in the same city as either of our families, we communicate regularly through phone calls and video chatting. Despite the distance, we spend time with one of our families for all major holidays and love seeing our son bond with his cousins.
Sarah has three siblings. Two are married with three children each, and one is single and often comes to visit and even comes with us on vacations. Dean has two siblings who both have two children, and we fly to visit them whenever possible.
In addition to our families, we have a close-knit group of friends within our local community. We rely on each other for support and fun, and we love the relationships we and our son have built.
Our Adoption Story
Sarah was in foster care for several years and adopted as a young child, while Dean was adopted as a young child by his stepfather. Even while we were dating, we always discussed adoption being an important part of building our family. Whether biological children were in our future or not, we knew that we wanted an adopted child to be a part of our future plans. We both have experienced the joys of adoption firsthand and also know some of the challenges that can arise from being an adopted child. Adoption is an integral part of who we are today, and it is a special bond we can’t wait to share with our next child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
