We are beyond grateful to be considered in raising, caring for, and loving your precious child. The magnitude of this decision is not at all lost on us, and thus, we promise to give your baby the most wonderful life we possibly can. We will strive every single day to do so. This is undoubtedly one of the most difficult things you will ever consider, and we hope we can provide comfort in some part of this process. We made a commitment as a young couple to value family above all else so that all of our important life decisions - including career, home life, and exposing our family to many different types of experiences - have revolved around this value.
We both grew up with multiple siblings and have known all along we wanted our children to have siblings to learn from and to lean on throughout life. We strive to expose our children to as much as possible, knowing there is great value in experiencing various different cultural opportunities, sports, activities, and trips. Likewise, we both have had the opportunity for advanced education and it is important to us that we provide the same opportunities for our children.
Being parents and watching our children grow together has been such a blessing. We hope to become parents to a third child who will complete our family and allow our children to have a wonderful sibling to fill their days with even more laughter, joy, and love. We thank you for considering us on our journey to grow our family.
We grew up in the same hometown and met as young adults through a mutual friend. After dating for several years, we now have been married close to five years. Together, we both wholeheartedly value family, education, traveling, and serving in our community. As the foundation for our commitment, we knew early on that we would shape our life together around these important values.
Amir is an administrator in higher education, and he enjoys playing and watching sports, especially soccer. And he is the family handyman! Sara is blessed to have the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom, where everyday activities revolve around our two young children. Finding time to read, cook, and run is always an added bonus!
As a family, we spend lots of time visiting local museums, parks, and zoos, as well as take advantage of wonderful seasonal activities around us such as apple picking at local orchards, visiting water parks, and attending town fairs and festivals. We also love adventure, so will often travel near and far to visit with friends and explore new destinations!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by families, all in the same stage of life, with young children who have become great friends. We definitely lucked out! Our home is in the suburbs of a major city, which offers culture, diversity, and endless activities. Schools are very highly rated, which is extremely important to us, and they offer plenty of extracurriculars, from arts to sports and everything in between. We both grew up very close to our current home and had a wonderful experience in the school system.
We have a six-year-old Husky-Golden Retriever mix who has been with us almost his whole life. He is the most gentle, goofy pup you will ever meet. He enjoys playing catch and taking naps!
Our Extended Family
We both have large extended families. Amir has three siblings, and more than 20 extended family members who we regularly see and spend time with. Adoption has played a significant role in Amir’s family, as he was adopted by his father. His father and biological brother were adopted by Amir’s grandparents as well. Amir also has three cousins who came into the family by means of adoption!
Sara has two siblings who spend lots of time with us and our children regularly. She also has more than 15 local extended family members who we see often. They make birthday and holiday celebrations that much more fun! Sara has two cousins who were adopted as well. We make it a point to celebrate every birthday and important life event, and it’s always fun no matter the occasion!
Amir has siblings close in age with young kids, so there is already a network of children ready to grow up, play, and share in life's adventures together! Both of our families love traveling and often plan special trips to be together that have included multiple fishing adventures to Canada, beach outings to Florida, and mountain expeditions to Colorado. We are blessed to have extended families live close by, so we are often together for the holidays, supporting each other on the latest home improvement project, or just getting together to share a Sunday dinner.
What Led Us To Adoption
Two important narratives have led us to adopt. First, both of our immediate and extended families have been positively impacted by multiple adoptions, which has provided us guidance and support in understanding how to fully embrace the adoption process and see the wonderful ways a child can be welcomed into a family. Secondly, in 2014, we adopted an infant from the Marshall Islands to join our family and we have been amazingly blessed by how he has transformed our lives. In seeing our love for him, we know that our family has a strong desire to extend that love again to others through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
