dear expectant mother
We are so grateful you are taking the time to read about us and hope you will consider us as adoptive parents for your baby. We realize this is a difficult and life-changing decision for you, and we admire your courage and strength. As a part of our family, your child will always know where they come from and the sacrifice you made out of love for them.
We want you to know we have so much love to give a child and hope you can envision your baby as a part of our lives. We had very different childhoods and are excited to combine our traditions and experiences while raising our child. From game nights with friends to summer stays at a family lake house and holidays surrounded by extended family, so much adventure and love awaits. Our support network is an amazing group of family and friends of all ages, including many strong role models and mentors. We look forward to nurturing our child’s goals and dreams by giving them the framework to succeed. Our backgrounds in education, the arts, and business will ensure your child is brought up in a supportive and diverse environment.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about our family, and we hope to have the opportunity to meet you one day.
We met at a show tunes theme night in 2014 and the rest is history! Our lakeside wedding ceremony in 2017 was full of friends, family, and lots of dancing. We are grateful to have built such a beautiful life together surrounded by people we love. We enjoy walks with the dogs, taking group fitness classes together, and playing tennis and pickleball. We are both involved in the arts and have been able to experience firsthand the many benefits that come from spending time in a theater. Ryan now works in corporate education, and Caleb teaches choir and theatre at a nearby high school. We love taking weekend trips to see our parents or hiking at nearby parks and trails.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a picturesque Illinois suburb in a three-bedroom home. We love spending time in our cozy family room, gathering around the dining room table for games, playing fetch in the backyard, or sitting on the back deck with friends and family! Our dogs, Bailey and Cooper, are two of the cutest and most affectionate pups you’ll ever meet! Bailey is a Yorkie/Schnauzer mix who loves playing fetch. Cooper is our rescue Yorkie/Cairn terrier mix and loves napping in the sun. Both of our pups have been to school with Caleb and even performed on stage in one of his shows, so we know for a fact they love children and can’t wait to have a new baby to cuddle with.
Our Extended Family
Ryan’s parents live at a lake house a short drive away and cannot wait to have grandbabies to love and spoil. We love playing games, visiting cider mills, and cooking with the family. One of Ryan’s sisters just moved to town with her husband, and his other sister is a teacher on the East Coast.
Caleb’s family is primarily in Georgia, where we visit a couple times per year. Caleb has two nieces and expects many more in the future! One of Caleb’s sisters lives nearby and can’t wait to meet her new niece or nephew.
We have many close friends in town whom we consider family, including our neighbors and their children. We’re looking forward to having playdates in the neighborhood!
What Led Us To Adoption
We have both always wanted children and bonded over the hope of being fathers together. Caleb is the oldest of six and helped raise his youngest siblings from an early age, while Ryan was a natural caretaker for his two younger sisters. We both come from an extended network of supportive and loving family and friends who helped to shape our desire to be parents. We know our community will open their hearts and homes to our new baby. After extensive research on how to build our family, we know adoption is the right journey for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
