dear expectant mother

Thank you for taking the time to take a glimpse at our lives.

How do we begin to write a letter to two people we have never met, yet already have our hearts? We are humbled by your courage and strength in making this decision for you and your child. Whatever your decision may be, please know that you and your baby will be covered in prayer and love from both of us as well as our entire extended family. We are far from perfect, but believe and strive to be the best we can be, and promise to provide a stable and loving home for your child, surrounded by family and friends. We would be blessed and honored to be on this journey with you, through the tears and joy.

About Us

Hi, we are Alyssia and Ryan, and have been married for 14 years. Alyssia is an assistant director at a child care/preschool. She would be able to continue working after we’ve adopted, since they allow employees to bring their children to work! Ryan works at a local company doing lawn care during the main part of the year and snowplows during the winter. He also works at the local funeral home as a greeter and helps with funerals and visitations. We enjoy spending time together, whether it be at sporting events, camping, with family and friends, or just hanging out at home.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small community near our friends and families. We have a ranch style home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Our home has lots of room to grow, including a room that is designated as a toy room for the future. We have a large backyard with room to run and an area to have picnics too! We have a small dog, Sid, who is 8 and a cat, Ellie, who is 13.

Our Extended Family

Alyssia’s parents have been married for 38 years. She has one brother who is married and has twin boys and a baby girl due in March. We spend a lot of time with her family, including cousins, grandparents and aunts and uncles, celebrating birthdays, Sunday coffee after church, and dinners together frequently. Ryan’s parents are divorced and he has three brothers, two of which who are married, and have children of their own. We love to celebrate birthdays and holidays together with them. We spend time with one of his brothers more frequently and enjoy going camping with the girls and having dinners together.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have decided to adopt because we felt that God was calling us to expand our family and we were not able to on our own. We want to be able to add to our lives with a child and feel that adoption is the way we can do that! We explored several options before being led to Angel Adoption through a friend and we are excited to be able to welcome and love a child through adoption.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
