dear expectant mother
We want you to know that even though we don’t know you, we pray for you daily. We think about your health as much as we do your baby’s, and we want to support you in any way we can. We think it’s important you know we look forward to expanding our family, not only by your baby, but by you as well. Our hope as parents is to return the same relentless love and selflessness you have initiated.
Your baby will not only have two loving parents, but also have extended families who are excited to join us on this journey. We couldn’t be more thrilled to raise a child knowing they will be loved beyond measure. We are confident in our ability to be parents and look forward to sharing our time, love, and devotion with our growing family. We are so grateful for the opportunity and we hope that as you read this, you hear our sincerity and compassion. We can’t wait to meet you!
We met through mutual friends in college while we were on athletic scholarships and were tested with four years of a long distance relationship while pursuing graduate degrees, Christy in athletic training and Roxane in psychology. We believe that time apart has taught us to value and make the most of the time we have together. We married in 2016, just ten months following the Supreme Court ruling which allowed us to do so in our state. Now, we both enjoy our careers and helping others. In addition to our careers, we enjoy traveling, especially somewhere we can scuba dive. We have very supportive families and enjoy spending time with them whenever possible.
Our Home & Pets
We live in an adorable home with three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Our home is part of a quiet community with many young families and children, and our neighborhood offers a playground as well as a community pool, basketball, and volleyball court. In addition to that, we live within walking distance of a great elementary school. We have two indoor cats that are very affectionate, who are looking forward to the opportunity to become big brothers.
Our Extended Family
Our families are the center of our lives. They are both incredibly supportive of us, including our careers, marriage, and decision to expand our family.
We live near Roxane’s family, which consists of her father, stepmother, identical twin sister, and older sister, as well as their families. Christy’s family lives in Louisiana, which means we get to see them less but still have a very close relationship. We see them as frequently as possible, and they enjoy coming to visit us. Christy has a large family consisting of her parents, two siblings and their families, as well as many aunts and uncles who play a vital role in our lives.
We love traveling and doing activities with our families but mostly enjoy just sitting around the pool and being in each other’s company.
What Led Us To Adoption
We knew we wanted to have children for quite some time, and we spent time researching our options. After many conversations and countless prayers, we decided adoption was the right path for us. We have been abundantly blessed and are very grateful for everything we’ve been able to accomplish, and we both value the relationships we have developed with our families. We want nothing more than to develop the same closeness and supportiveness with our growing family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
