Thank you so much for taking the time to read about us to get to know us. We can’t imagine the difficult decisions you are currently facing and how hard it must be. Most importantly, we want you to know we will be supportive of your wishes throughout the process and are so appreciative that you would consider letting us welcome your baby into our family.
Your child would be raised in a loving and supportive environment. They would have the opportunity for many friends their age nearby to grow up with and would be blessed with loving parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. We would be together as a family every day, and Joel’s mother would handle daycare while we are at work, so they would never have to be away from family. We would support whatever hobbies, academics, sports, and organizations they want to be a part of and make sure they are given a great education. Many days would be spent swimming and boating on the lake, and they will fall asleep every night knowing there are many people who care about and love them.
Thank you again for considering us to adopt your child, and we wish you the best in making the difficult decision on what is best for your baby. We are so honored you have taken the time to consider us in this process and look forward to getting to know you better while going through this process together.
About Us
We met while working at our first jobs out of college in the summer of 2012. We became a couple shortly after, on Thanksgiving Day. In 2015 we got married in an old church on the perfect August day with many of our friends and family in attendance to celebrate with us. We both grew up in Nebraska and continue to live there today, which keeps us close to nearly all our extended family. Robyn is a business system analyst at an insurance company, and Joel works as a regional sales manager for the same company. Robyn is active, loves the outdoors, and can’t live without Chipotle. Joel is outgoing, hard-working, and a Red Sox fanatic. We both graduated from the same local university and spend many fall Saturdays attending their football games.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a lake community in the Midwest. Our home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and our favorite place to spend time is our backyard deck, which overlooks the lake. Our small community has walking trails, a pool, and a playground just a short walk away. There are several community events for children, such as a Halloween party and Fourth of July parade. We have an eight-year-old Husky named Bailee, who is very friendly and loves to go for walks and swim in the lake.
Our Extended Family
We love living in Nebraska because we get to live about 15 minutes away from both of our extended families. Robyn has one older sister, who is married; she and her husband are currently pregnant with their first child, which means a cousin close by to grow up with! We see Robyn’s family often, whether it’s getting together to watch a sporting event, boating on the lake, or just a random visit. Joel has two younger siblings, one brother and one sister. Joel’s sister is currently attending our college alma mater, which is only an hour away, and Joel’s brother works for the university foundation. Joel’s parents also live in a lake community and love to have the family out to their house to spend time together cooking pizzas in their pizza oven and relaxing outside.
Being so close to our families makes the holidays extra special. For all the major holidays, we split time with both of our families. Our favorite holiday with our families is Christmas, where we spend the afternoon with Robyn’s extended family at her grandmother's house and the evening with Joel’s extended family at his parents’ house.
What Led Us To Adoption
Very early in our relationship, we discussed the importance of having a family. After getting married, we tried for several years to get pregnant, including IVF treatments. This ultimately resulted in the realization that we were unable to have biological children. Our deep desire to be parents led us to begin researching adoption, speaking to other family and friends who have adopted, and deciding adoption was the perfect path for us. We are extremely excited to get an opportunity to share our love and grow our family!

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
