dear expectant mother

Thank you so much for taking to time to learn about us. We feel blessed that you’re considering us as you make the difficult decision of who will parent your child. We cannot begin to understand how difficult your decision is, but hopefully our profile gives you a glimpse into the love we have for each other, our daughter, our families, and our future child.

We are over the moon to welcome a child into our home and family, and we look forward to starting new traditions. We hope to hear of your interest to get to know us better. If you you choose us, we promise to love and cherish your child unconditionally while encouraging them to reach for their dreams. We promise your child will always feel loved and, without a doubt, will always know how much you love them. We promise that your child will never have an unmet need.

Thank you again for considering us, and we hope to learn from you what your wishes are for your baby, too!

About Us

We both grew up in Chicago, Rob in a suburb and Monica in the heart of the city. We hit it off the moment we met, and within a year we were engaged. We share a love for cooking, but our favorite thing is traveling: finding new adventures to experience is priceless, and something we hope to share with your child. At work, Rob is a Public Service Officer, and Monica is a Recruitment Manager; outside of work, Rob likes to sneak a video game or two in when Monica isn’t looking (and sometimes a late-night movie!), and Monica loves Pinterest and crafts and spends a lot of time reading (but HGTV is her guilty pleasure!).

Our Home & Pets

We live in a family-oriented community with a great school district. We are surrounded by many parks and opportunities for plenty of family and children activities. Our home is spacious, with three bedrooms, an open kitchen, and a family room area. We absolutely love our huge backyard, where we spend time gardening, barbecuing with friends and family, and enjoying yummy s’mores on those cool fall weekends. Opie, our fun and loving dog, loves to hang in the backyard too! He loves kids and pretty much all humans. He’s such a cuddler, and definitely part of the family!

Our Extended Family

We are both close to our families, and we cherish the time we spend with them. Monica comes from a family of her mom, two sisters, and one brother. She is also an aunt to three nephews and two nieces. In addition, she is very close to her three cousins, who are like brothers. Monica also has a beautiful twenty-three-year-old daughter who is over the moon to finally be a big sister. Rob has a small but mighty family, and he’s especially close to his dad, who he looks after very closely. Rob is close to his Godson, too, who looks up to Rob.

We have a tradition at Christmas to decorate a gingerbread house, and we invite our families on Christmas morning to open gifts and have breakfast in our fun pajamas. We also do a pajama exchange, which is always a good laugh.

Both of our families are very supportive of us adopting, and they are all excited to be part of this journey with us.

What Led Us To Adoption

Even though we knew it would be a challenge, we knew from the beginning that we wanted to extend our family. After facing the struggle of having a biological child, which both tested and strengthened our faith and marriage, we realized our calling to become parents would be through a different path. We did our research, and we couldn’t be more excited to grow our family through adoption!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
