dear expectant mother

We would like to start off by saying a huge thank you for even considering us. We really admire you and the difficult choice you are making. You are so brave. We know this is not a decision made lightly and pray God’s grace and strength over you. We want you to know that if you decide to make an adoption plan with us, we promise to respect you and whatever level of openness and contact you would like to have with your baby.

It is our hearts’ desire to provide a loving, stable, supportive, nurturing, happy, and fun home for your baby. We will do whatever it takes to make sure your baby has opportunities to be successful in life and to be able to pursue their own dreams. We will provide the best education for them and teach them the importance of God, family, and love. We will encourage them wherever their passion leads them, whether it’s sports, dance, music, art, etc. Our hearts are bursting with love already for your baby, and we cannot wait to share it. Please know your baby will be the center of our lives and will be loved so much not only by us but by our extended family, friends, and neighbors. They have cousins who can’t wait to play with them already.

Thank you for your selfless gift!

About Us

Shannon is a very hardworking, fun, smart guy and loves working on his classic 1969 Chevelle. He loves playing with our five-year-old godson/nephew and three-year-old niece when they come over (which is pretty much every weekend). Becky is a fun and smart person and loves to read, especially James Patterson. She also loves playing with the kiddos when they come over. We often babysit them and love taking them out to the yard, where we have picnics, blow bubbles, and go on adventures. We actually went to school together. After high school, we went our separate ways but somehow both ended up in Florida. In 2008 Shannon sent Becky a message on Myspace (yes Myspace lol), asking her out. She accepted, and we ended up going out on a Thursday to a bike night on his motorcycle. That was in August of 2008, and we’ve been inseparable since then.

Our Home

We live in a beautiful four-bedroom, three-bathroom home. It has a heated pool (with a safety fence) and a hot tub. When we were looking to buy our home, we bought it with our future kids in mind. It was a must that we live in a cul-de-sac as it is safer, and we wanted to be close to a hospital, schools, parks, and stores. We were so blessed to find a home that had everything on our checklist. After we moved, we learned we were doubly blessed as we got to meet our neighbors, which now we consider extended family.

Our Extended Family

Our extended family is pretty big and very close. Combined, we have 13 aunts and five uncles. We have over 75 cousins. Becky has a younger brother, one half-brother, and three half-sisters.

For Easter, we go to our younger brother’s house and have an egg hunt for our nephew and niece. In the fall, we cook a huge Thanksgiving dinner at our home, and the family and kiddos join us. For Christmas Eve, we also go to our brother’s house for a typical Puerto Rican dinner and pajama party. We play games all night till midnight and then open presents. For Christmas, we go to our mom’s house for a traditional breakfast, which consists of crepes with fruit, bacon, sausage, and home fries. After breakfast, the rest of the family and kids join us for dinner and more presents!

We all try to get together on the weekends (since we all live really close to each other) for barbecues and pool parties since we live in Florida.

What Led Us To Adoption

When we married in 2010, we tried getting pregnant the natural way. We were both told by our doctors that we are unable to have biological children, but that hasn’t stopped us from dreaming of becoming parents. We grieved and were sad, but thank God for the miracle of becoming parents through adoption. Now we are over the moon with excitement and can’t wait to share all the love we have to give!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
