dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to first say we are extremely proud of you for your courage and strength to consider an adoption plan. We can only imagine how difficult a decision this is for you to make. We have been praying for you and your baby since we started this process. We truly trust God to take care of you and us in this process and know that God’s love abounds whatever the circumstances.
We want to assure you of our excitement and careful thought of becoming potential adoptive parents. Having the chance to parent and love a second child brings us great delight, gratefulness, and humility, and we want to thank you for this opportunity. We commit to praying for you and your baby and know that God will provide for you. Grace and peace to you, Adam and Reba.

About Us
Adam is the quiet one, with a kind heart and a great sense of humor. Reba is the outgoing one with a heart for hospitality and a ready smile (and laughs for Adam’s jokes). Adam loves the outdoors and building things; Reba loves to cook and experiment with new recipes. We enjoy inviting people over for meals, bonfires, and social time. We both enjoy history and watching documentaries and the occasional sci-fi show. Reading is a big part of our lives, and we read to our daughter, Joanna, every day. Joanna is currently four years old and a very jolly little person. She is very excited about the possibility of having a little brother or sister. Adam works as a team lead for a mapping company, and Reba is a stay-at-home mom and homemaker. We are very involved with our church, volunteering for Sunday school and audio-visual team, going to Bible studies, etc. As a family, we enjoy playing games, completing puzzles, riding bikes, and watching movies together.
Our Home
Our home is a 1.5-story brick home with three bedrooms and two baths. Reba’s mom lives in our home in a mother-in-law suite; she has her own entry and a brand new kitchen. There are lots of families with young children in the neighborhood. It is a low density, safe neighborhood. Each day, we see many of our neighbors taking walks or walking their dogs. Nearby are several parks/gardens, a farm with animals, lots of food options, and a downtown metropolitan area with lots of attractions.
Our Extended Family
Reba’s mom lives with us. She is a retired English teacher and enjoys taking care of Joanna if we go on a date or have an event. Reba’s extended family lives out of state, and we fly out to visit them once every two years on average. She has one sister and several cousins she has grown up with. We especially enjoy visiting her extended family, usually at Christmas-time.
Adam’s extended family is within a 45-minute radius of our home. He has four brothers and one sister. In addition to gathering for holidays and birthdays, we also get together with Adam’s mom’s family three times a year for camping trips around the state. Adam’s dad lives on five acres and we enjoy getting out there once or twice a year to spend time with him or meeting him at one of our favorite restaurants for a birthday/holiday celebration.
What Led Us To Adoption
After a few years of trying, we decided to pursue in vitro fertilization (IVF) to enable us to have children. We did two rounds of IVF before we had our daughter. After her birth, we still desired more children, but we didn’t want to pursue IVF again. We started looking into adoption and became more and more convinced it was for us. We love being parents and get so excited when we think about the possibility of another child in our lives. Adam’s stepdad was adopted as were two of his cousins, and Reba has several friends who were adopted. We spoke to these people to learn what it was like for them. This helped us to decide adoption is right for us, and we’re so excited to be here!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
