dear expectant mother
Although you don’t know us, we feel so connected to you in a way that is indescribable. You are held in high regard in our home; we think of you often and pray for you daily. We have been praying for your health, and that your heart will be filled with peace and rest through this journey.
As you are considering us as parents, it is quite possible we will be forever connected by the beautiful baby you’re carrying in your body and whom we carry in our hearts, and so if given the opportunity to parent, we commit these promises to you: We promise to love your child with our entire hearts, for our entire lives. We promise to provide a life filled with fun, laughter, and adventure. We will encourage their individuality, remind them where they came from, and be their biggest encouragers and confidants. We will nurture their dreams and help shoulder their challenges when the weight of the world is heavy.
We will honor you by attributing their best qualities to you, a courageous and beautiful woman who is forever held in the most special place in our hearts.
We met in college at the University of Montana, where Raymond played football and Stephanie played volleyball. We went on our first date ten years ago, and we have been together ever since! Raymond is an eighth-grade teacher and high school football and wrestling coach, and Stephanie is the General Manager at a historic boutique hotel. Our favorite thing to do on a Sunday after church is to take a day trip in search of the best brunch, find a mountain lake, or take a day hike. We love being outdoors and taking advantage of all Montana has to offer. We live in the country and enjoy spending time in our flower and vegetable gardens, working on home improvement projects together, and taking our dogs on walks down our dirt road. We often barbeque on our deck with our friends and love playing cards!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a brand-new, three-bedroom, two bathroom house eight miles outside of our little Montana town. We have a big vegetable garden, several flower beds that Stephanie loves tending to, and Raymond has planted over 100 trees. We have a big backyard, and from the deck have a view of seven different mountain ranges. We have three dogs, Axle, Diesel and Gunner, who all have such big personalities and always keep us entertained. There are miles of walking trails all around our house, and we are only a short distance from mountains, rivers, and lakes.
Our Extended Family
We both grew up in small towns surrounded by big families, including aunts, uncles, and cousins. Raymond has an older sister and two younger brothers, and Stephanie has three brothers. We are both incredibly close to our families, and because of these relationships know we want our children to have siblings as well.
We are also so blessed to have a very close relationship with Raymond’s grandparents, Roger and Myrl. They are a beautiful example of marriage and what a wonderful life you get when you stay the course. In fact, we just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in Mexico with them!
When we bring home your baby, he or she will be the first grandchild on Stephanie’s side, and her parents cannot wait to be grandma and grandpa! They already have a room ready for when we come to visit, complete with a crib and toys. We also can’t wait for summers on Raymond’s family ranch, with our kids riding horses, bottle feeding the bum calves, and chasing the pigs around with their cousins! Both of our families have not only been so supportive through our adoption journey, but they are all over the moon excited to welcome another baby into our family.
What Led Us To Adoption
We feel tremendous joy and excitement in this season of anticipating parenthood. When we think of what our family will look like, we see different backgrounds and features, but mostly we see so much love. After finding out we may not be able to have biological children, we both knew that instead of pursuing fertility treatments, we wanted to pursue adoption. While this journey has been intimidating at times, we are humbled and honored to be walking it together. While there have been plenty of challenges, this process has brought us closer together as a couple, and we feel we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
