dear expectant mother
Hello, Mom!
Although we haven’t met yet, we’re sure you are just as nervous as we are. We just want to let you know it’s okay to feel scared and wonder if this is the correct decision you are making for your child. We’re here to say thank you for considering us to step in and raise your child as ours while teaching them the importance of living while loving, faithfulness, and integrity, which is always a top priority for our household. We would be forever grateful should you choose us to raise your precious baby, and we promise to put forth as much effort as possible for the child’s upbringing and moral support.
Our lives have been dull while in need of more character and light to continue shining through. This process is not an easy task for us, and we must let you know how scared we were in the beginning. But then we remembered that all we need is faith and we’ll be living our beliefs. We pray that you feel a sense of reassurance and calmness in knowing we will forever be thankful for your kindness and selfless act that helped us continue in life.
May your heart be forever at peace knowing your toughest days were spent making a decision that impacted someone else’s life tremendously. We’re here to help each other grow while understanding and respecting each other along the way. Be blessed always, and again, thank you for this opportunity to love and share traditions.
About Us
Hi, we are Ranada and Gerald. Ranada is an easygoing, happy person who loves and helps everyone she can; she’s been told she has a heart of gold. Gerald is a generous person who loves to help and work on anything that needs fixing or slight tweaking. He works as a maintenance person, but he also does welding, fitting, and many other duties for the company. Our interests and hobbies include a wide range of things, such as going to the movies, outdoor adventures of all kinds, and sporting events. Everyday activities include family time, cleaning, and cooking as we enjoy doing things together. We’ve been together for twenty-four years and married for sixteen of those wonderful years.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom mobile home in a quiet country area. Our neighbors include family members throughout the lane. This alone makes our home special; being there is always near and dear to our lives. Our community is roughly around 1,800 people, but the entire county where we live is about 24,000 individuals. Our school system is “A” level, with many forms of afterschool programs. We have a few parks located within, but any major events are about an hour away from us. We also have a pet shih tzu named Star Michelle; she’s nine years old.
Our Extended Family
Ranada is the eldest of six siblings: three sisters and three brothers. Gerald is the baby of five brothers. Between the both of us, we share thirty-six nieces and nephews and seven godchildren. Both of our families are relatively big, so we have many cousins and family gatherings constantly.
Around the holidays, we split Thanksgiving with Gerald’s family, each taking turns hosting it, while Christmas is spent with Ranada’s family. Gerald and his brothers share a tradition of attending the opening game of LSU’s football season every year no matter what the location is. Needless to say, family is an important part of our lives, and we look forward to sharing time with them daily. Traveling is a part of what we love to do together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We struggled for so long trying to grow our family without any positive outcomes until we started questioning ourselves. We decided the beauty of adoption is the way we want to grow our family. We and another couple among our close friends have been going through the same problems and have chosen to seek adoption. As we are the first within our families to seek adoption, we have no doubt that any child we are blessed with will steal the hearts of other family members as well as ours. We can’t wait to complete our family!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
