dear expectant mother
Thank you for considering adoption. We truly appreciate you taking the time to learn a little bit about us. We are certain you have so many wonderful families to choose from and are beyond grateful we are among the families you are learning about.
Our home is already filled with love for each other and our pets, but growing that joy is something we are ready for. Our walks will get an upgrade from a couple of leashes to the addition of a stroller. Rachele can add baby and me yoga to her routine. We cannot wait to learn and grow together as a family. We imagine all of us baking together in the kitchen, Dustin teaching his woodworking skills as he or she grows, camping as a family, and traveling.
We both have an appreciation for the earth and plan to raise your baby with a respect and love for nature and animals. We already have a zoo membership and plan to go often. We also feel it is important to love and respect your neighbors, so we will raise your baby to be kind, respectful, and caring for all people. Having fun is also important, and we plan to support any activities your baby gravitates toward and wants to pursue. We are also pretty nerdy and will introduce your baby to the important things in life, like Star Wars, the Muppets, superheros, and board games.
We met at work at a scientific research lab, and our friendship quickly grew into something more. We both share a love for animals and nature and enjoy spending time outdoors. We enjoy hiking and camping and just going on walks with our dogs to explore the neighborhood. We truly value nature and strive to live a sustainable, eco-friendly lifestyle. Dustin spends his time tinkering around the house. He is very handy at fixing things and is an excellent woodworker. He has built a lot of useful and decorative pieces of furniture for our home and as gifts for friends and family. Rachele was recently certified to be a yoga instructor and enjoys spending her time deepening her practice. She also enjoys crocheting and likes to try making new things like hats, blankets, and baskets.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a four-bedroom Acadian-style home with a large yard. We have a small raised garden and love spending time planting and harvesting what we’ve grown. We also have a small pond with some fish, and our dogs love to stalk frogs. Our home is a very short walk to a 31-mile-long hiking trail surrounded by trees that connects multiple town centers. Along the way are playgrounds, campgrounds, farmers markets, museums, and splash pads. Currently, our family consists of a large sulcata tortoise named Herbie that lives in our backyard; two small dogs, Ash and Mia; and three cats, Jack, Ollie and Adi. We cannot wait to share our home and expand our little family.
Our Extended Family
Rachele has four sisters, a brother, a niece, and two nephews. Dustin’s family is a little smaller with just one brother. We both come from families that were very close knit while we were growing up and spent a lot of time with our grandparents. Holiday traditions mean a lot to both of us, and we’ve continued them as we’ve created our own home.
Rachele comes from a large family, so big holiday dinners that her nan hosted were always her favorite tradition. As Rachele got older, she took the reins and started hosting these dinners for every holiday. She loves entertaining, and taking over that tradition has been very rewarding. Dustin’s mom is an excellent cook and baker, so we have continued making the same Christmas cookies and birthday desserts his mom used to make. Both of our families would also drive around at Christmas to look at decorations, and we still do that together every year.
What Led Us To Adoption
We’ve always had adoption on our minds as a possibility when we were ready to grow our family. Rachele’s dad and aunt were both adopted by her grandparents, and she saw firsthand the love and appreciation her grandparents had for them. Both of our families are very close, and we love the idea of honoring her grandparents by following in their footsteps. We have so much love for our family and are very excited at the possibility of expanding it.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
