dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We think you are so brave and strong to be considering adoption for your precious baby. We want you to know, if you choose us, you will be changing our lives and our family’s lives as well. We admire you for considering such a selfless decision. You would be giving us an amazing gift we cannot give ourselves: a child to love. We can assure you, by choosing us, your baby will be surrounded by more than opportunity. Your baby will be the center of our world, and we will be forever grateful.
We are sending you and your baby our thoughts and prayers. We hope your decision leads to us and that it gives you peace and comfort in choosing our family. We are open to whatever relationship you wish to have with us and your child. We want you to know we will share their story and heritage with your baby.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about us. We know sometimes life leads us to places we never expect. Our unexpected journey has led us to you. We hope yours leads you to us. We know you have a story, and we hope we can join our story and yours to create something beautiful.
We grew up in the suburbs of Chicago five minutes from each other but met in Boston when Keith and a mutual friend visited Rachel on their way to Fenway Park. We instantly hit it off and stayed close as Rachel continued to work as a travel nurse. We got married in 2008 and are best friends and partners in life. We both love sports, baseball and football in particular. We love to travel and often plan our trips to include a ballpark. Keith works as a lighting project manager at a local electrical distributor, and Rachel works as an oncology nurse at the local university hospital. Keith’s job is close to home, and Rachel’s four-day work week gives us lots of family time together. Most evenings you can find us cooking and sitting down to a nice dinner together.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a family-friendly community in a tri-level home we love. We look forward to walking to the park or the local public pool with your baby. We have plenty of space to entertain family and friends. Our highlight of the year is hosting a St Patrick’s Day party for all our family and friends. Fridays in the summer you will find us taking our turn hosting “Flamingo Night” with the neighbors or having a fire in the backyard. We adopted our dog, Ivy, ten years ago. She loves family walks, car rides, playing at the dog park, and visiting her “cousin dogs.” She is very gentle and mild mannered and cannot wait to welcome a new brother or sister into the family!
Our Extended Family
Both sets of our parents live close by. Rachel’s parents still live in the house she grew up in and cannot wait to have a grandchild to make new memories with! Keith’s parents’ home is the gathering place for most holidays for the entire family. On Christmas, you can find us all together at their home, gathered around the fireplace and opening gifts while sipping eggnog.
Both families share our love of sports and often visit us to watch a game together. With six siblings between the two of us, your baby will have plenty of love surrounding them and will be welcomed into the family with open arms.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are very excited about the opportunity adoption gives us to grow our family. We both have loved ones who are adopted and know adoption has given them wonderful, loving families. Our infertility struggle has brought us closer together and has strengthened our love for each other. Adoption gives us the opportunity to share that love with your baby and complete our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
