dear expectant mother

Hello!

We are Rachel and Keith, and we are hoping to grow our family through adoption. Thanks for taking the time to read about us. We want you to know you would be giving us an amazing gift we cannot give ourselves: a child to love and parent.

We are sending you and your baby our thoughts and prayers. We hope your decision leads you to us and that it gives you peace and comfort in choosing our family. We are open to whatever relationship you wish to have with us and your child. We want you to know we will share your story and your heritage with your baby. We also have some family traditions to share with your baby as well. We have an annual St. Patrick’s Day party where Keith makes a traditional corned beef dinner to celebrate his Irish heritage. This also includes a lasagna feast made by Rachel to celebrate her Italian heritage too! If you decide to make an adoption plan, we hope we can join our stories together to share something beautiful with your baby.

With love,
Rachel and Keith

About Us

We grew up in the suburbs of Chicago five minutes from each other but met in Boston when Keith and a mutual friend visited Rachel on their way to Fenway Park. We instantly hit it off and stayed close as Rachel continued to work as a travel nurse. We got married in 2008 and are best friends and partners. We both love sports, baseball and football in particular. We love to travel and often plan our trips to include a ballpark. Keith works as a lighting project manager at a local electrical distributor, and Rachel works as an oncology nurse at the local university hospital. Keith’s job is close to home, and Rachel’s four-day workweek gives us lots of family time together. Most evenings you can find us cooking and sitting down to a nice dinner together.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a family-friendly community in the suburbs. Our neighborhood has several parks and a public pool within walking distance. There are always parents out walking with their kids and pushing strollers down the street to go play. We look forward to taking your baby to the park or to the pool! With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, we have plenty of space to grow our family. Our town has loads of family-friendly events. We look forward to the yearly JazzFest in the heart of our downtown that is fun for all ages! In the winter, we head over to the Ice Sculpture Walk and Hot Cocoa Crawl. This is like a scavenger hunt to find all the ice sculptures outside of local businesses while sipping some cocoa to warm up!

Our Extended Family

Both sets of our parents live close by. Rachel’s parents still live in the house she grew up in and cannot wait to have another grandchild to make new memories with! Keith’s parents’ home is the gathering place for most holidays for his entire family. On Christmas, you can usually find us all together at their home gathered around the fireplace opening gifts and sipping eggnog with Christmas music playing in the background.

Both of our families share our love of sports and often visit us to watch a game together. With six siblings, four nephews, and two nieces between the two of us, your baby will have plenty of love surrounding them and will be welcomed with open arms!

On weekends in the summer, you can find us spending time together in our backyard with a fire in the fire pit and taking turns with the neighbors hosting “Flamingo Night.” This is a family-friendly, informal gathering in the host family’s yard or driveway meant to relax and have fun after a long workweek, where the adults catch up with each other and the kids run around and play.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have been dreaming of becoming parents for a long time, and adoption is the right path for us to do just that! We have been touched by others in our life who have previously adopted to grow their own families, and we have seen how wonderful adoption can be! We promise to love your child with every fiber of our being and give him or her a safe, happy home with every opportunity possible.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
