dear expectant mother
The path you are considering for your child is selfless, courageous, and brave. We commend you for this and would be forever grateful if you chose us. We want you to know you are not on this journey alone. Every step of the way, we will be there to talk with, to lean on, to comfort you, and to guide you. You will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
Our home is full of love, joy, adventure, and laughter. We have some amazing families that have taught us to live life to the fullest, to never take a day for granted because you don’t know what tomorrow will bring, and to love one another and treat everyone as you want to be treated. We are thankful for all the opportunities God has provided. Even though we have no children of our own yet, we take every opportunity to teach, nurture, and help children grow, whether it is through church programs or our daycare. We provide an environment that is full of love and encouragement. God is the center of our lives and our home.
During every step of this journey, we are praying God will comfort you, guide you, and bless you. Thank you for your courage and selflessness.
After many years of searching for our soulmates, we finally found each other online ten years ago, before our profiles were even complete; the rest is history. From the beginning, we knew God put us in each other’s lives for a reason. We enjoy traveling and seeing new places. Every year on our anniversary, we go to Kansas City for a Royals game or two. We love watching TV together and just spending time together after busy days at work. You can find Jason usually watching sports or out in the garage building some project for Rachael. Rachael loves Pinterest and coming up with crafts; she spends her time enjoying family and catching up on her TV shows when Jason isn’t around. Jason is a conductor for a local railroad, and Rachael is an owner/provider for an in-home daycare.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a cozy four-bedroom, two-bath, ranch-style home. We love the open concept with many places to gather. There is a nursery and playroom right across from the master bedroom. We have a fenced-in backyard on an acre lot. We love dogs and have two: Tony, a chihuahua, and Memphis, a miniature dachshund. We are in a quiet little town in South Dakota in a mixed neighborhood of retired families and families with kids. We live right down from the school, the church, and many parks and places to play. Our family owns a farm with sheep and other animals. There are many opportunities to learn and grow, not only with animals but with a huge garden that provides food for our family.
Our Extended Family
Rachael’s family lives very close to us, and we spend lots of time out on the family farm. We always look forward to Sunday evening dinners and game nights. Rachael has amazing parents who are always there for us. Her father is a retired pastor who now runs the family farm, and her mother works for a shoe store as a sales representative. Her grandparents live on a lake, where we enjoy holiday meals and many get-togethers. She has a big brother who is married and has a little girl, whom Rachael enjoys at her daycare. She also has many cousins and other family members.
Jason’s family all live in Indiana, where we go to visit a couple times a year. He has an amazing mother who has always been his rock. She is always there for him and is his biggest supporter. His stepdad has taught him everything he knows about being a loving father and putting others first. Jason’s dad is a retired police officer, and his stepmom is also retired. He has a younger brother who is married, with a little girl. He also has many nieces and nephews.
What Led Us To Adoption
We were married nine years ago and were excited to start a family. After many failed attempts, we discussed adoption. Adoption has always been in Rachael’s heart, so we became foster parents to three amazing children with hopes of adopting that way. After not being able to adopt through foster care, we decided Angel Adoptions was our best hope of becoming parents. Being parents has always been a dream of ours, and we are so excited and can’t wait to welcome a little one into our family. We pray every day God will grant a miracle, and we continue to believe God will provide.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
