dear expectant mother
We are so grateful for your decision to consider adoption and to consider us as a family for your child. We want you to know that we understand this decision is courageous and selfless. We intend to teach your child about his or her biological family at a young age. Having adopted our daughter, Lucy, we have been so blessed to see that it doesn’t matter how a family is formed; what matters how much love is in the home. We have a lot of love to share.
Your child will be surrounded by a loving big sister, a devoted mother, and a caring father. We will have family dinners, park days, and nights camping in the backyard. We both highly value education and will help your child reach his or her fullest potential.
Thank you, again, for considering us as your child’s family, and we wish you all the best in deciding what’s best for your little one.
We met on a trip to California with a group of mutual friends, and we immediately felt a connection. We started dating right after that trip and were married on January 12th, 2013. We have loved every second of our adventure together: Janet is incredibly kind, patient, and funny, and she works tirelessly to take care of our family; Phil is very outgoing, and he is great with people. Phil is a software developer, which gives him plenty of flexibility to spend time with the family. Janet works as a dental hygienist one day a week and is home the rest of the week. She loves being able to spend so much time at home to take care of our daughter, Lucy.
Our Home & Pets
Our five bedroom, 3 bathroom home is in a cul-de-sac in a great neighborhood with good schools. We have a big fenced-in backyard with fruit trees and a big shade tree. There are all kinds of great family activities close by: parks, libraries, zoo, aquariums, and children’s museums. Our home is close to a beautiful canyon, where we love to hike as a family. We are also near a lake where we enjoy playing at the beach and renting kayaks and paddle boards.
Our Extended Family
Family is everything to us. Phil comes from a family of five kids and Janet has ten siblings, most of whom live nearby. While we were growing up, siblings were some of our best friends. We’re all still extremely close with our families. We love having dinner at our parents’ houses once a month and going on family trips together. It’s been especially great to have family nearby since we’ve adopted Lucy. As soon as we welcomed her into our family, she had grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins close by to shower her with love. We practically have an army always here to support us.
We are lucky enough to go on some great family vacations with both sides of the family. Some of our favorites have been going to Disneyland, renting a beach house in Oregon, and visiting several different national parks.
Our Adoption Story
Our journey to adoption began when we were unable to conceive a child on our own. We considered many options and felt in our hearts that adoption was the right choice for our family, so we decided to pursue foster care. One day, we got a phone call saying that there was a five-day-old little girl that needed a home. We instantly fell in love with Lucy and were blessed to be able to adopt her when she was seven-months-old. We are so excited about the journey of growing our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
