Please know, whatever decision you make is the right decision, and we hope you find peace in making that decision. We have an indescribable amount of love to give and are hoping to be able to give it because of you and your selflessness.

John and Penelope

About Us

We are John and Penelope from Colorado. John is a fully retired U.S. Army veteran and currently enjoys working at a local doggy daycare! Penelope is working the job she loves as a respiratory therapist, allowing her to help others, which is one of her best qualities along with her kind heart and contagious laugh. John is a hardworking, gentle soul who would do anything for anyone. We have been married for three years now and own our home in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood in Colorado. Colorado is the place to be with our free time because the mountains are always calling our names! Camping, fishing, and hiking are our go-to. We also enjoy traveling anywhere that offers us wonderful adventures and family time. Family is what means the most to us, so we look forward to expanding ours!

Our Home & Pets

We live in our beautiful, spacious, bi-level home in a quiet, family-oriented neighborhood in the heart of Colorado! We can be anywhere, including the mountains, within fifteen minutes. Penelope’s family is included in that! The community where we live is very diverse, which makes it special to us; individuals from all over surround us. We have two dogs: Dakota, who is a purebred Doberman as well as our emotional support dog, and Luna, a puggle. Both of our pups are loving and calm and will do just about anything for some cuddles!

Our Extended Family

We may be biased, but we truly have wonderful families! They are both outgoing, fun, and special in their own ways.

John’s family lives in Illinois and consists of his mother and his stepfather, who have been married 23 years, and his younger sister. They live in a quiet, tiny farm town about thirty minutes from the city. His family loves hopping in their camper and driving off into nature for some quality family time. John’s mom loves baking while his dad is out grilling something! They all come out to Colorado frequently to visit and spend much needed family time together.

Luckily, John’s family is extremely close with Penelope’s family, who mostly live in Colorado. Her family is very large, with her father and mother, who have been married 28 years, and her younger brother and sister-in-law. Wherever there are family games being played, Penelope’s family is there! Her family gathers together every Sunday for “Family Day,” with time to enjoy a good dinner, play games, and laugh together.

What Led Us To Adoption

Penelope has always wanted to adopt since she was a little girl after fully understanding what adoption is due to her grandmother being adopted herself. After we married in 2019, we tried our hardest for a baby, but unfortunately have lost four along the way. Adoption then became a frequent discussion between us, and we now know it is for us. We believe everything happens for a reason, and our path has led us to adoption. We couldn’t be more grateful. We are financially stable and have a beautiful home and an endless number of family and friends ready to love our child like we will.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
