dear expectant mother
We cannot begin to understand all you have been through in this selfless and loving act of considering adoption. Although we haven’t met you yet, you should know that you and your child already occupy a place in our hearts. It has been our lifelong dream to raise a child. We are so incredibly grateful and humbled that you’d consider us as adoptive parents for your baby.
If you choose us as adoptive parents, it would be our life’s work to love your child fully and raise them to be happy and healthy. We are dedicated to helping them explore this amazing world and to see the beauty in everything and everyone. We will raise them to know they are a beautiful person who can make a difference in the world. We will pick them up when they fall, wipe their tears when they cry, encourage them to follow their dreams, and support them always in all things they do.
We both come from large extended families who are all eager to love your child. There are many cousins waiting to play with them and many aunts, uncles, and grandparents who can’t wait to hold them. We all can’t wait to add your child to our home, sing songs with them, share holidays with them, and simply be a family with them.
We honor your bravery and the courage you are showing through this act of loving kindness. We want you to know we are here for you and your baby. You are the answer to our prayers and we hope to be the answer to yours.
We are Patrick and Uriel. Patrick grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and is the middle child of five. Uriel grew up on Long Island and is the oldest of five children. We met two months after Uriel moved to Chicago in the spring of 2012. Patrick is an entrepreneur and a dog trainer who co-owns a successful dog training business with his best friend. Uriel is an international flight attendant who translates French and Portuguese on flights. We both love to travel. Uriel’s work with the airline has allowed us to explore many parts of the world. We love to cook at home, go bowling, and take our dogs on hikes. We enjoy volunteer work and being active in our community.
Our Home & Pets
While we always knew there was room in our hearts for a child, we knew we had to move into a larger home to help make that dream come true. This past summer, we relocated across town into a beautiful new home. We now live on a cul-de-sac in a cheery neighborhood with a lot of young families. We’re located within walking distance of a park and an elementary school, and our school district is one of the best in the state.
We live with our two dogs, Mollie and Trixie. Mollie is a nine-year-old Rat Terrier and Trixie is a ten-year-old Rottweiler mix. Both of our dogs came to us on the same day eight years ago and have been an integral part of our lives ever since. They come with us on road trips, watch TV with us, share our home, and are truly a part of our family.
Our Extended Family
Both of us have four siblings each, and as such, family plays a big (quite literally) part in our lives. Uriel has three brothers and a sister, while Patrick has three sisters and one brother. Together we have five nieces and five nephews. Every year our family keeps growing.
Our families have been intertwined for several years and regularly spend the holidays together. We host Christmas Eve dinner for both families each year, and every third year we host both families for Christmas Day. Thanksgiving is big in our home too - it’s one of our favorite holidays. Friends, coworkers, and family always have a standing invitation to dinner, and we never know if four people or 24 people will show up. Either way, it’s always a great time.
We talk to our siblings and parents often. Family functions are noisy, fun, full day-long events filled with laughter and plenty of food. Our family is really excited for us to have children of our own. We know that we have a big loving support system in place for us when that time comes.
What Led Us To Adoption
When we first started dating we talked extensively about our life goals, which always included starting a family. When we talked about our future, the picture we both had of our lives was one filled with children. When we pictured growing old together, we talked about being surrounded by grandchildren. We have both felt strongly that adoption is the right fit for us to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
