dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We cannot imagine the feelings and emotions you are facing as you consider an adoption plan. We have never been in your shoes. We can, however, tell you from the bottom of our hearts, we believe you are one of the strongest individuals walking this planet. It is incredibly courageous of you to consider an adoption plan and, hopefully, us to raise your baby. Your path to adoption will never be lost on us. We are incredibly grateful and honored to be considered as adoptive parents.
We truly believe a family is made with love, not biology, and are very excited to provide your child with stability, knowledge, acceptance, pride, confidence, and, above all, genuine and unconditional love. As a family, we will enjoy running, jumping, and even the smallest of things in life. We will go on walks and explore playgrounds. We will promote “family first” and introduce new and exciting adventures. As a family, we will dedicate the rest of our lives to see that this child faces trying issues with love, compassion, and guidance from us. Thank you for considering us!
About Us
We met in 2006 while Nikole was attending college and Matthew was fresh out of U.S. Army basic training, and we hit it off right away. We bonded over the movie Batman Begins as we both have a love for movies. After Nikole earned her degree in secondary math education, we moved to Colorado. Matthew was deployed for a year then was medically retired when he returned home. As a couple, we enjoy spending time watching movies, eating at new places, playing games, and spending time with family and friends. The best part of our day is laughing together over the funny things our cats do on a daily basis.
Our Home & Pets
We live in the beautiful state of Colorado and purchased our forever home in 2014. Our five cats (Pickles, Patches, Pancakes, Marv, and Gotham) absolutely love running around our three-story, open-concept home. We live in a quiet part of our neighborhood, one block away from the park and just down the street from a local elementary school and public library. Our home is located 30 minutes from the city life and one hour from the gorgeous Rocky Mountains.
Our Extended Family
As a couple, we put family and friends as a top priority. We believe it is important to get them involved in many aspects of life.
We have a fairly large extended family. Nikole is the youngest of three, with two older brothers. Both of Nikole’s older brothers are married with multiple children. Matthew is the third oldest of four children and has numerous nieces and nephews. We love to get together for major holidays and random weekends to see parents, siblings, nieces, and nephews. While our families do not live in the same state as we do, we try to see our families, every few months.
We are lucky to have such great support as we embark on this journey to parenthood. Whether we are playing family games, reminiscing, attending popow's to see Matthew’s niece dance, or eating lots of ice cream, there is always fun and laughter. In addition, we have another family in Colorado that is “framily” to us and many wonderful friends we enjoy getting together with.
What Led Us To Adoption
In January of 2012 Matthew returned home from his overseas deployment. It was then we started our eight-year journey of working on improving ourselves as well as evaluating what we wanted in life as a couple. During this time, we discussed growing our family many times. Adoption was always an option we considered from day one of talking about children. It became our path when Nikole was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) and we had no luck getting pregnant naturally. We truly feel, in our deepest of hearts, adoption is the best path for us as a family, and we are both very excited to welcome a child into our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
