dear expectant mother
We would like to start by expressing how strong of a mother you are. It takes true selfless love to open your heart and consider an adoption plan. You are a true blessing, and we admire your dedication to caring for your baby. Our hearts are with you constantly, and we know that no matter where life takes us, you will always be with us in the heart of your child if you choose us.
It’s nearly impossible to describe how truly impactful this child would be on our lives. Our hearts have ached for years as we have exhausted nearly every avenue possible in an attempt to reach this dream. At night we lay in bed talking about life and the things we want to do with a future child. What would we teach them? What activities could we do with him or her? How can we give this baby the best life imaginable?
Ultimately, we know none of this is possible without you. We are so grateful for this opportunity. We have so much to give, to share, and to teach and so much love to impart on this child. Our hearts are full of hope that this will be the start of what we have been dreaming about for so many years. We thank you wholly and genuinely for your consideration.
About Us
We lived in the same town and attended the same schools but never never crossed paths until November 2010. 5 years later at Sunset we said “I Do’. The life of the party, Niki loves to entertain and host friends and family as often as possible. When she’s not busy with those she loves, she can likely be found curled up with her dogs and a good book. Niki works as a surgical coordinator and finds fulfillment and joy in helping her patients. The more soft-spoken of the two, Rick also loves to entertain and spend time with friends and family. He can often be found on his fishing boat, enjoying nature and the beautiful scenery our area has to offer. When Rick isn’t casting a line or grilling up steaks for his guests, he can be found in the office or with one of his agricultural customers. We are excited to share these joys and traditions with a growing family in the future.
Our Home & Pets
Both natives of Georgia, we were raised in a small town where family and community are one in the same. Our tight-knit community has been the core of our collective love of the South. Being only a few hours from major cities, the ocean, camping, and fishing has been an incredible blessing in our lives. We truly feel we live in the best place in the world! We are dog-parents to Bo and Addy, our two dogs that have been with us for the last decade. Our dogs are part of our family, and we love spending as much time with them as possible.
Our Extended Family
Rick has a large family that includes two loving parents, two older brothers and one younger brother, 20 cousins (all of whom are close and local), and nine aunts and uncles.
Both older brothers have children that we are able to spoil and love. In terms of family traditions, we spend major holidays all together with family. Additionally, we love to cut down a live Christmas tree each year to celebrate the holiday season. A tradition that was passed from Niki's family to Rick’s is finding the perfect Christmas ornament to add to the tree every year.
Niki also grew up with a loving and supportive family. As an only child Niki was able to create magic with her imagination and love for all things dress up! If she wasn’t outside playing she was inside with her mother and grandmother learning how to bake and create art which her grandmother loves. Traditions on Niki’s side of the family include Christmas Eve at her grandmother’s house with cookies and baking for Christmas Day. We also enjoy planning a family trip to take each new year after Christmas!
What Led Us To Adoption
Our journey to parenthood has been riddled with bumps and dead-ends. We’ve suffered the heartache of failed attempts and surgeries, costly interventions, and waning hope. Throughout all of these challenges, adoption has always been on our hearts. With a history of adoption in the family, we have always had a deep appreciation and respect for this incredible gift. Niki’s mother and two uncles were both adopted, which created an early impression on a young mind and life. Though our attempts at pregnancy have come up short thus far, our hearts and desires are full and ready for this next adventure.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
